Been waiting so long for these. Still haven't seen them available at a US site aside from Barneys but they put their pre-order up months ago. Could have copped from Ssense but didn't want to deal w/ costoms.
customs is now no bill under $800 so you should be good

yup, the one good thing Obama did

Wow.

Thats great. $200 was weak. It was damn near impossible to keep it under $200. I made at least 8 orders from Sweatshop, each order consisting of one pair in order to avoid customs.

Now I can hoard care free? :smokin

How much does customs typically charge for orders over 200? Is it the more you go over the limit, the more you're charged or is it a flat fee?

it's different for every type of item but in general it's random

There is a tariff that goes over the applicable duties. The amount varies based on the type of item it is and materials used. In general sneakers can be taxed 20%. That doesnt include "brokerage" fees that a courier might charge.
Wasnt aware about the $800. Just looked it up. Legit. Thanks for the heads up.

Depends on a lot of factors. Material of the item, value, prime rate, origin and import country and what the broker you use charges.

$208 shoes cost me about $30. $500 shoes cost me about $55.

You can look it up but it's pretty specific.

a lot of things becomes a factor in how much the customs fee will be: item, material, value, shipping company, shipping courier, destination, origin, etc.

I ordered a $600 bike frame from London and got a $32 customs fee, my girl ordered $200 bathing suits from Australia and got a $100 customs fee. I ordered different color roshes in separate orders from End and each had a different customs fee.

So who will be the first brave soul that cuts into the boost on their triple blacks to see if they made black boost foam or just painted it?

if I get the TB UB's, and I wear them down and the black foam starts chipping away and reveals white. I'm sending them back to Adidas. Didn't wait 3 years for colored boost from Adidas only to find them painted like all the other weak customs.

customs limit going up is a game changer now. some of the deals you can get on higher priced items but had to fallback because of potential customs :smh:
