My brother is 34 and still rocks Jordan's daily. I chuckle when we're at my nephews practice and he has the same shoes on as most of the kids.
Nothing wrong with it, I just figure priorities would be different when you reach your 30s - 40s.

The comfort is where it started it all over again for me. I told myself i was done after the Jordans/Desginers due to how just uncomfortable they were and the amount of money that was spent. Once I tried on Boost it was game over.
I mean at this point since the fitness hype is at an all time high, even the younger folk gravitate towards runners. On another note,  I went to a high school graduation and even the younger-folk going with sneakers than dress shoes. Comfort is starting to take over.

Definitely not. I just give him a hard time about it. My nephew is almost the same size as my bro. Only a matter of time before he starts "borrowing kicks".

32, almost 33 with 2 kids. Rotation consists mainly of Boost and Jordan XIs. I love my XIs but they dont compare in comfort to UBs Yeezys etc

Good thing I have my back up pear

NY don't count  Forever thuggin' over there.

Dope man. Hopefully you save some XIs for the kids when they get older. s'plain to them how 72-10 > 73-9

Lol 2 year old rocking gamma already. He's worn concords, Military 4s, toro 4s, fire red vs bred 13s, carmine 6s. Saved them all for his lil bro

Well since it seems like a good majority of the people responding in this thread is late 20's - 30s -40s, the need to flex with some Jordans is not priority any more so it seems natural for older folks to gravitate towards comfort. UBs provide that and a low key stylish silhouette.

Plus after a while it looks outright foolish when you start dressing like your kids or your kids' friends /nephews/younger crowd..
This one is hard to avoid especially for "sneakerheads" as everyone gets drawn in to similar things...  Perfect example are joggers (not the sweats kind)...  Not sure who started the "trend" but I personally saw it among people who's in to runners and pin roll pants...  Now, Js wearing, vans wearing, chucks wearing guys and girls are wearing them...  Then they up'd the scale by wearing colorful socks to peep at the cuff area...  I personally like the show the skin look vs colorful socks look.  In reality tho, isnt that pretty much the 90s trend where you put rubberband on your

My cousin who is a big Jordan fan since his rookie year, even name my nephew Jordan. When that kid was born he bought that dude so much heat. Sucks though because Jordan would take his shoes off almost immediately and just rock the barefoot look.

I guess even babies know wassup lol

90s - early 2000s is a niche decade in style. I don't think youth gonna go back to tall tees, XXXXXXL shirts / rubberbanding pants / stuffing shoes / puka shells / metal ball necklaces.

I could understand the need to feel relevant but Ain't nothing wrong with old man swag

Got my first pair of UBs maybe 5 weeks ago and immediately knew it was over. 4 Pairs deep now and bout to start liquidating most of the collection

Gonna be hard cuz there's some pairs in there I really love but will probably never wear anymore

Priorities definitely change with age (shoe wise) for me at least. Bought 10 pairs of prestos and UBs in the past few months

Will keep all my kobes because they're sleek and comfy but now days I look at alot of Js like
