Copping perscription glasses online?

I ordered off warby Parker twice and both times the prescription was way off. :smh:

Just ended up buying a frame online and taking it to my optometrist so he could put the lens' in.

I've been buying glasses from Costco for a while now. Their selection of frames suck though.

What about contacts online?

Only place I've heard of is 1-800 contacts, any feedback?

I'd rather just buy at my optometrist''s office so I can try it and the doctor makes sure everything is on point. Vision is not something to mess with.

Agree.

Coastal + Warby Parker are good, but I would not trust any other sites. I've been wearing my Coastal pair daily for about 3 years now, no complaints.

I did buy another pair a while back that came out very weird. It got me dizzy and everything looked rounded.

Going to my optometrist sometime this month to upgrade. I think I'd feel better paying experts to make sure the glasses fit me well.

What's this free Coastal pair yall are talking about? And do you still gotta pay shipping?

Waiting on my 5th pair now looool.

The only thing I would advise is to make sure u look at da size of the frames. I got some that were smaller than I thought.

Other than that def one of the best deals online

that first pair free offer is still good on coastal
you can get multiple pairs just switch your email address
I've done this a few times and yes it works.

1st time customer gets first pair free using code "firstpairfree". All you pay is shipping, and it is on select pairs, a few years ago they had reallly nice pairs, last year the options werent that great.

I will check out Warby Parker and see what they have.

theyre legit, if you spend a few mins on google you'll find some discount codes.

I know it's just a matter of opinion,

but in regards to your argument against buying glasses online, they're the same process as contacts if you have your prescription and measurements (from previous frames)

Oh the lense is fine, see perfectly but it keeps falling off my face. So I only wear it when sitting down

Ordering glases online has a higher possibility of an error. Most people dont even measure their PD correctly. Then you have options like progressive or reading. So if its a person making these all day, something is bound to go wrong. I guess I have more faith in Johnson & Johnsons QC. With contacts, you can see the specs right on the packaging and know right away.

39dollarglasses.com is legit...very basic frames cantbe bbeat for the price...rx glasses/ sunglasses shipped to your door in less than a week :pimp:

on a related note

what's the best place for contacts??

I want them cheap!!!

1800 contacts? coastal?

I don't feel like going for another eye exam, but I moved and lost my contacts

Not really free....I'm blind as a bat so my lens cost more I think....

Picked a frame that costs $88, chose the regular lens, total came to $127 + $10 S/H. After applying the code, cost came down to $39.
