Lex is my guy and his production has continued to get extremely better but there's no paper in trap rappin' unless you're top 3-4 doing it, he's wasting his time hoping on these tracks.

For a couple young n like Thug or Migos, I agree.

In regards to an established producer with as much talent and as young as Lex, that's Baby money compared to what he could be getting in the grand scheme of things... he'd be be a lot better off trying to go the Timbaland route; working to create you a Missy Elliott, Keri Hilson, etc. His raps weren't exactly all that bad, you could just tell he's not 100% comfortable in the booth yet and that takes time that I ultimately don't think is worth it for him.

He doesn't really sound bad, but he could've easily given those beats to Migos, Juicy J, Flocka, etc and accomplished much more.

idk man i doubt producers can do what he did in these times. I mean look at Mike Will dude makin a whole bunch of moves but prolly only can put a mixtape out.
