The Emasculation Of The Black Man vol: just a little think piece

People with more money are able to handle post-sex situations more so than poorer individuals. Everyone has sex to enjoy. That isn't exclusive to poorer people.

Money doesn't equate a father, I know guys that have money but never see the children that they've birthed .

Money does not equate a father.

But money being present increases the likelihood that a man sticks around for his child.

The, "Black kids don't have fathers" epidemic isn't present in the middle class black community.

Sometimes...just sometimes...I wish I were another race so I can just be a damn person...being black is like a chain that I can't shake loose...either white folks don't like me cuz I'm black or black folks don't like me because I'm not black enough...still, through all these years, after all these books...I still don't know what it means to be black...and still don't care to be if that's all I can ever be...I just want to be a man...is that so difficult?

And please don't give me that ' but no matter what you black' I literally had an old white women tell me a few hours ago 'I expect you'll do great things' ...idk how I'm suppose to interpret that as racists. I know my skin color, and love my history, but I truly believe that SOME people look at me and see more than a black man, I wish my brothers would do the same.

I understand. I think black went from being a distinctive trait, to lifestyle and culture. Once you have that trait then you are automatically linked to that culture in some way. And based upon public perception, you are either accepted or rejected by that culture.

I guess you just wanna be judged by your actions and ideas. With that, I really don't know what to tell you....

It's not present ? So that doesn't exist, what is considered middle class? Because I think I may know of your first case

This still goes back to my earlier question, since you are focusing on economics what varies between the poor that build a home rather the men that flee?

Even Obama has pushed this issue and black leaders tried to shush him, he acknowledge black men need to be fathers to their children and they tried to shift the focus on something else. We can focus on other factors but what can black men control? Why don't they stand up and take control of their homes, what is stopping them we have already established money helps but isn't the deciding factor.

I always get lost after the "we have been conditioned" statement that gets brought up.

Are we as a group, that ******, that our problems are solely due to the fact that we have been conditioned?

i don't have much to add to this topic but i was recently thinking about Dave Chappelle's "Inside the Actors Studio" interview.

Dave was talking about how Comedy Central was becoming too involved w/ the 3rd season of The Chappelle Show. The Comedy Central writers wanted to put Dave into a skit where he would be required to wear a skirt or dress. Dave wasn't having any of that. He didn't want to be like the other prominent black comedians in popular media who dressed up as women (see Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Tyler Perry, Wayans bros, etc.)

Then i turn on the tv to watch the NBA playoffs and there i see Kevin Hart walking around in a skirt & wig in a commercial for his new movie "Think Like A Man Too".

just makes you think ...

Dave def wore a dress tho. Peep robin hood men in tights.

But how are you going to get away with privatized institution with pro black agenda and not get labeled as racists?
and that right there is it folks. All other racial can collectively bargain through organization. But let there be a group designed for color and watch them fight to include everybody....naacp much?

We got OUR BLACK WOMEN, the same women who saying that "black men ain't ****", who be the MAIN ONES SUPPORTING this foolishness. I swear, my G, these women are enforcing this ****. Keekeeing it up with these dudes talking all "yassss ***** yassss" making this **** "acceptable". And then they gonna go home and talk about how there ain't no good Black men in America.
I agree 100%.
