This **** sounds like a nice side gig. Why not just do it in a civic, Camry etc if you're worried about engine wear and tear? My car is 01 so no go for me...yet

Not sure how accurate it is, but I read somewhere that starting Sept. 1st, Uber will begin charging $40-50/month to use their phone they give you, a lease payment if you will. Do you know about this?My cousin is doing this. He needed a flexible job schedule so that he can focus on his real career. Makes sense actually.
On the exact same thing. I am using it to learn the northside of my city and network. I've already met a couple new clients and some others in the real estate industry.
The cash is very real. It's really about driving at the right hours to stay efficient and max out on the earnings. I've made $200-225 three days straight.
I started on the 16th. Made 430 in 22 hrs, now I should do 800 this week after having worked roughly 36 hours. I'm gonna stay with it until its over on top of my other hustles.
and the best thing is I'm too damn busy making money rather than blowing it.
You can try signing up with SideCar, they accept any vehicle as long as its newer than yeah 2000.Would love to but I don't have a 4 door car, they require one. Seems like a pretty cool part time gig
How u gun let a random stranger hop in da hemi or da m3
I haven't read anything saying that, but I have only been on for a couple weeks now. That's one ride on a good day so no problem if they do. I have to see what Illinois and Chicago does to affect the program. I'll keep doing it as long as I can clear 1k a week.

.is that net? Cause I know they take 30% and then taxes on it and what not. But I've also heard anything you do with the vehicle is tax deductible

They take out 15%. It looks like they're also taking $1 per ride. I'm waiting on a response.
It's definitely tax deductible.
It's easy money. And easy money doesn't come good.
It's dangerous for users AND drivers. Especially because it's still ILLEGAL HELLO DUMBASSES WAKE THE **** UP!
^this
uber/lyft are illegal in some cities like orlando. ive heard ppl getting ticketed and cars towed. until uber complies with city laws, they arent gonna be allowed in these cities.
mentioned earlier, had a friend drive for them for awhile, but with paying your own gas/maintenance, and risk of getting in accident (be sure you got the right insurance) it wasnt worth it for him
Damn. What has he said in terms of safety? My boy is an Uber driver in SF on weekends. He typically just drives Sat from 2pm to 3am and nets a cool $600 after Uber fees. Not sure if that includes gas expenses too. I couldn't do it but he has mouths to feed.
