well the point is there isn't anything special about these so I don't understand the hype. If yeezy were on nike ID im sure they wouldn't be so special either. Some people are buying these only because they are selling out.

The point is, there isn't anything special about them... to you. Everyone has different tastes and opinions, and there are people who actually like them... whether it's due to hype or not. Only those dropping down their own cash know for sure. But in the grand scope of things... why does it matter why a colorway sells?

I decided not to. Can't justify getting a kobe that doesn't do anything spectacular. Only kobe that's worth it at all so far is the vino. Might have to cop. If not I'm gonna wait till the exts or whatever the next ext is or whatever is dropping June 18

Also think vino is the best low so far. Will cop for cheap.

All white looks good too but only when still DS imo

I doubt they're gonna yellow because the new age materials opposed to jordans that are leather

I think it's the other way around. Leather doesn't really yellow much over time on its own IMO. It's more so the newer plastic based uppers that you have that problem with. Just look at this pic of Gold Medal Kobe VIIs that are supposed to be DS and released about 3 years ago.

The leather part of the III's upper hasn't really yellowed over time but the plastic heel cup did.

These fundamentals are going to get messed up in one hoop session...or just going outside. I have the white kobe 8 TBs and it gets dirty so fast and it has a subtle gray pattern so it's not all white as it seems. These are just pure white...

The only way the fundamentals could have been better to me, was putting touches of maroon on them, like the Ace V. Im a sucker for a simple white based shoe like this, and they will be bought, if I can get for below retail.

I get 20% off (when exclusion is lifted) with veterans advantage through them, plus free ship and no sales tax, the rep told me they were limited and they were running out. I bought them cuz they look super clean. Funny how hype changes people's opinions on shoes. I remember going crazy buying the 8s would have wished for something this clean but they released a bunch of weird stuff. I remember people complaining that there wasn't anything simple. And now it's the other way around. I def think these shoes are damn pricey. But not bad for my first GR of the x. Let's hope and pray fly knit gets released

Very comfortable IMO. No heel slip for me.

Yeah, I think I'll end up copping the Elites (Team, Elevate)  off eBay. Don't like them as much as the 9's, but for well under retail, I'll bite.
