1 on the sides, top and back cropped with scissors. Been using for a long time. Sometimes, I'll let the "tails" grow in the back. Sometimes I'll let the top and back grow long. But this tends to be my go to.

Just got this yday after sideparting it for months. Gonna grow it out for a couple of months up top.

my barber spends almost 45 min cutting my hair so i think the extra tip is well deserved

I would agree with tipping that extra bit.
However I'm paying ~$44 after tax for my haircut.
I'll go with the default 15-20% tip.

You're either crazy or don't really have to watch your finances to consistently tip $10-20 after a $45 haircut

My haircut  is like this except the side is a fade from a 0 to 2 and I don't have my sideburns pointed.

Appreciate the advice. Funny thing is, my buddy cut it and he definitely just used clippers. I thought he did a good job.

Regarding the part being wide...It basically came to improvisation when we decided to do it how it is. I have a scar on the bottom of that part and the angle was just a touch off. Rolled with it and told him to just make it into a bit of a point and I think it turned out good. I don't think it looks super wide but is wide enough for it to be noticeable.

You'll be fine my dude. Being that the sides of your hair are so short, it will grow very soon

I basically rock the comb over.

Way too lazy to do the part, but when my hair grows out I get this, I let this rock.

Question?

Anyone know any good shampoos that add volume to your hair?

Your cut looks straight just like that.... i want my hair to do that but its to straight to do anything with it... i dont feel like spending 20 minutes on my hair just to style it with paste :smh:... i thought i was the only 1 who used paste too

Famb, take it easy on the Pomades

Have to try all the ones I can in order to eliminate all the ones I don't like lol.

I have this stuff my sister gave me. Its in an orange container...ill take a pic wen I get home..4got da name.

Its good tho

I use pomade over gel because gel gets my hair all flakey and that's not a good look, plus you can't run fingers through hair with gel on it, at least mine.

I actually started using the american crew gel again this week and it doesn't make your hair crunchy.
