REALLY interested to see just how "good" this Chicago team will be. They're way too much on Derrick Rose being the player he used to be. The guy hasn't had a meaningful season since 2012. When he came back last year, he looked a few steps slower and didn't have that same explosiveness before the torn ACL.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up having the career Penny Hardaway had after his knee injuries.

Me too; I've never had a major knee injury but dudes I know who have say that you never get back to where you were before the injury. You always feel a half second slower than you were before. A half second slow Drose is still damn good though

I think DRose can still get very close to where he was before the injuries...if he does the Bulls will be really good in the East.

Footage of d rose losing a step?

Obviously, the overwhelming factor in the success of the Bulls' season is how Derrick comes back to play. If he plays 70+ games and can make a difference ,we'll contend for a title. He doesnt have to be MVP Rose. We are very deep and big....

The maturation of Butler, Gibson, McDermott, and Mirotic will also be something to monitor. Gasol will be solid for us too. After not getting Melo, im pretty damn excited.

why didn't pacers offer him another contract for more after lance declined the first one? are they not allowed to?

-shows you how much they really wanted him back, combined with Paul George's answer to the question do want Lance back -- basically was the attitude of the entire franchise...

if they wanted to do something for the teams that have won the finals before, they should have just made the logos gold.. or put stars on the jerseys like they do for world cup teams

Nah...Chicago
