Yup, same guy that disappeared last night when he was asked to put his money where his mouth is. He's so confident we're going to finish 5th or lower but won't respond to a 5K bet? That tells me everything I need to know.

Eh, for how much money they gave him he's going to get some minutes. Not playing in the summer league isn't any indication of how much time he'll get during the year. Plus, he can play either forward spot as a backup. I wouldn't label him a victory cigar by any means.

In training camp and pre season if he looks terrible then it all changes lol

Man, Thibs just has a bad track record with rookies. I think all of them under him didn't start getting significant minutes until the end of the season.

I think if he was Rose's coach as a rookie, it would've been the same story.

McDermott strikes me as a coach's pet who'll probably have the defensive system memorized before the first game of the season so Thibs will bring him into the rotation faster than every other rookie he's coached.

I forgot about Asik, he was played pretty heavily during his rookie season

I don't think so. That was a younger Bron. Different attitude towards the game.

This new Bron seems more serious on the court most of the time. He's not 24 anymore. Dude grew up and matured in MIA.

His team is wild young now though, so you never know. They might have pre game antics. But that Cavs team back then seemed really close.

A few things that will lead the Bulls to the playoffs:

Thibs plays the young guys. They're stacked youth wise with Miriotic, McBuckets, Snell, etc

Start Rose, Jimmy, Snell, Pau, and Jo.
Rotate early with Taj and the rest of the bench mob so the vets can get rest.

ROSE PLEASE STAY HEALTHY. I feel if he relies less on athleticism, and his shot continues to grow, he could evolve into a more Tony Parker like player.

Thibs has to trust the entire team. Dude rides 6-7 guys to the ground, and has a fresh team waiting in the wings

Do you know how trash you have to be to not make the playoffs in the east?

Like you'd have to be so far under .500

lets be cereal. making the playoffs in the east is going to be competitive, because everyone outside of cleveland and MAYBE the bulls will have similar records :lol:
