My only thing with dudes getting paid under the table is government. The IRS always wants their cut so unless its an offshore account I just don't see how some Ms can just show up in an account without them knowing about it.

glad someone understands

things happen but eventually big brother finds out even if its in another country

FBI, CIA, etc, etc all monitor business, people. they know everything about you, me, every member on this site. you think no ones watching, think again.

go deposit $15k in cash into your account and see sooner or later you dont get audited or questioned about where the money came from and get in deep trouble

dudes these day think its we live in fantasy land where we can do w/e we want just because you dont see or hear anything doesnt mean every little detail or little thing you do is being watched or paid attention to especially a billion dollar BUSINESS.

Seems like OKC took advantage of Huestis's draft projection here IMO.

Had OKC not taken him that early, he was seriously project mid to late 2nd round / undrafted. Like...if he were to have went undrafted no one would have been surprised. So, assuming OKC approached him and his agent about this, you can't even say no if you're huestis.

I've done this at 17 years old man same exact amount.. Never a word no auditing nothing but I did have to fill out paperwork... Closest thing I had with the law round that time was snapping at the post office and a fed called my phone
Srs..

I see what u saying though they are always watching... But see this is where money laundering comes into play and there's only so much they can find out..

Bron is overrated defender. I've seen dude get cooked.

Are you saying Bron is overrated because you seen him get cooked? My goodness

Because great defenders never get cooked lol

I'm saying he's overrated because he gets ate by guys his size and bigger. People say he can guard 4 positions, but thats not actually true. The elite pg's in the L would dog bron and tire him out. Sure the refs let him be physical and whatnot, but the speed and athleticism, he isn't built for that. The 2 guards? Meh I dont really see him locking down Harden, and he wasnt locking kobe before he got hurt. Those are the only really elite sg's that he would have to check. He can't lock melo or joe johnson at the 3. Bron was getting bodied by David west at the 4 spot. I mean homie is 6'8. He' good with small guys and the lower end guys his height. Guys give his individual defense too much credit because of the one game he handled D.Rose or a block on a tiago splitter dunk. He's a better team defender where he can play the passing lanes and gamble. Good iso and athletic guys like pg, kd, melo, tony parker in a few games in last years finals, kobe before the injury, etc. Plus the fact dude fouls A LOT, and just gets away with it. I'm not saying he's a bad defender, but dudes gas him like he's transcendent on both ends of the court.

Be clear, I'm NOT hating, I'm a big bron fan, just keeping it 100

Bruh you are saying his defense is overrated because he can't consistently check the league's elite...come on man, no one can consistently check harden Kobe KD Melo, etc.

He's an outstanding individual defender if we're going to be 100 about it. He can guard 3 positions, 4 defending on situation. Can he guard 3 to 4 positions consistently? No (especially not this past season) but to discredit him because as you say "The elite pg's would dog bron" and because you "Don't really see him locking down harden and locking Kobe" is flat out stupid.

Other then Parker hitting that shot in game 1 on lebron and the step back 3 in game 6 when did parker even score on him in last years finals?

Not only that, but if OKC didn't approach Huestis and say we are taking you FIRST round...

Where would he be today?
Where?
Who's heard of this guy?
Before draft night, Thunder made him relevant.
He KNOWS; he agreed, he signed.

Don't be so soft NT, like this guy got screwed.
THIS GUY, got 1 upped.

Yeah he did.... Bron scoring garbage points means nothing....

It has nothing to do with Lebron scoring "garbage" points...Kawhi averaged 17.8 PPG for the series on 61%....That's not "giving Lebron that work" that's playing really well at a high level and being a main cog in a well oiled machine.
