I never blamed Melo for any of his postseason shortcomings (he is the reason his teams even made the playoffs), however this year it ends.
Melo legacy will be judged on two factors:
1. How close the Knicks ever come to a championship
2. If the Bulls ever make it to or win a championship
People will always look back and will say he chose money over winning, if the Bulls have more success than the Knicks, or if the Knicks don't win one ring (one or the other)

see thats why when ppl say dwight is great etc.... a dominant player i often chuckle... shaq was putting up historically numbers and dominating a league in an era with arguably the best bigs in nba history.... while dwight is just slight above most in a time where the nba has arguably the weakest/worst set of bigs.
Imagine a prime shaq in this era of bigs.... dude would probably put up playoffs/finals numbers on a nightly basis... I could realistically see shaq getting 30 plus a night 15 plus rebounds and about 3/4 blocks on the regular.

Just because Dwight doesn't put up Shaq dominant numbers doesn't make him not dominant. Dwight is not "slight above average" stop that. Just stop comparing Dwight to Shaquille. No one is going to be Shaquille. Let Dwight be dwight.

didnt say he was slightly above average (although when comparing to all time greats he would be) what i said is he is slightly above better then most of the current centers.... when shaq was in his prime it was shaq...then pretty much everyone else. My point is alot of ppl try to say dwight has that type of dominance in this era...to which im like nah... he is tops but its not like he is some man amongst boys like shaq was and how many claim dwight currently is.
