Ramadan for the Muslim Brothas

How does ramadan affect somebody trying to bulk?

is protein a food?

You gon lose all that muscle mass bro, it doesnt matter if you eat like a beast at night, since your stomach shrinks, you can't eat as much as you want anyways, smaller meals fill you up because you're so content with just eating period after fasting all day. If you're asking if you can take protein during the day, its a no. If you're askin if protein can be a meal replacement, no. I say drink protein at night and early in the morning after your meals. You could also eat food rich in protein I guess but honestly its best to just wait after Eid to bulk, cuz ramadan is a cut-month for devout brothas n sistas lol. Also if you're gonna workout its best to do it within 2 hours of Maghrib that way you're not dying of thirst all day

I remember I gained a good 5-8 pounds during Ramadan when I was tryna get brolic 2 years ago

So it's official eid is tomorow?

Participated in the Ramadan for the last week in solidarity with my roommate.  To say it was tough was an understatement.  Food at the mosque was always clutch at the end of the day.  Ramadan gives you a proper appreciation for food and water as well as the struggles of those who don't have easy access to either. It was a great experience, I think I'll do it the whole month next year.

Eid Mubarak to all! I hope you and your family have another prosoerous year insha Allah. I hope we have the opportunity to see another Ramadan as well.

Sounds like you did itikaf... I've done it a few times and it is definitely a great experience.

Eid Mubarak to everyone and your families!
This Ramadan flew by too fast
Remember to pray for all the Muslims in Gaza, Syria, Burma, Africa and everywhere else our brothers and sisters are being tested this Eid.

Eid Mubarak, family. May Allah accept our fasts. It's amazing how fast this year was. I was in Switzerland this year and initially I was intimated by the late sunset (9:30) but it was a breeze like always. Allah really looked out for a brother.
