Bobby Shmurda: ARTIST OF THE SUMMER: Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel Have Been Arrested

Bobby Shmurda x Zaytoven?

The hottest rapper in NYC on a Zaytoven beat?

The South Always Wins. :pimp: .

Every time a southern rapper "raps" NYC always wins :pimp: Glizzy from DC why y'all southerners always trying to claim something ? Didn't know Zay was only supposed to work with artist below the Mason Dixon line

i am well aware Glizzy is from DC, hence why there was no mention of him in my post. I also have no issue with Zay working with NY artists.

I said the South always wins because you never see our artists tryna work with Preemo or some **** but y'all stay tryna get southern beats, whether its Rocky and the Houston culture, Montana and his sound, Underachievers and Lex, and now Bobby and Zay (even tho it could just be a Glizzy feature).

Its not necessarily a bad thing. Just an observation. The South got it. 8)

The south don't have the lyrical complexities to rap over our elite northern beats. Plus the majority of rap fans now, due to the south and the influx of white people drawn to hip-hop, can't follow traditional rap. So northerners have had to adapt to continue to flourish. They've set the bar so low, that people's ears just can't process great hip-hop anymore. It's sad.

What?

Wasn't GKMC critically acclaimed? I would consider that great hip hop.

You really think Premo would work with Young Thug, Migos or any of the popping rappers from the south now? Let's be serious, big producers we have here are swizz and just blaze off the top of my head and they probably cost too much for them

If Migos had an album full of Premo and Just Blaze beats

How many songs does rocky actually have using the houston sound?

& french main producer is harry fraud so idk where you got his "sound" being southern from

Zay is my guy but hes not getting placements on an album unless its gucci, hes just another producer that sends tons of beats to rappers hoping to get that publishing check, versace for example

& lex is dead,

South producers have short careers just like their rappers

Stop trying to force this kid to happen just because he's from new York. He's ******* terrible and if he can't come up with another dance soon he's destined for Trinidad James status.
Who is trying to force him to happen though? He blew up on the internet before he even had a buzz in New York. You mad cause dudes aren't hating on a kid from NY who caught a come up off the internet? Be serious bro. You don't like it, that's fine. As far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on whether he can sustain his buzz but I'm going to give him a chance, if nothing but for the fact that its months later and Hot N'a still knocking.

Elite northern beats? Don't get me wrong for the older crowd such as myself that older Ny sound will always be elite but Ny music now is southern kinda other than a few rappers. The south is elite right now. Yall can't say Zay beats ain't tough, Dude laid the foundation almost for what we r hearing now. Alot of new rappers love Gucci so they want his sound

I'll just stick to Skyzoo, Lloyd Banks (when he crawls out his cave), and a bunch of NY vets if I want that sound.

Honestly, I just go to my 90s/early 2000s music in my library for that. The more recent stuff has kind of been underwhelming. Skyzoo is the man though, and Sean Price can ******* rap and I'll always knock whatever he drops because of that.

What do YOU like cause it seems like you just hate everything. Nobody ever called this ***** the next nas or pac he just came up and dropped a big hit this summer whatever he does after will cement what type of potential he actually has. Son is not even the best rapper in his crew but got the whole industry hopping on his **** how can you hate on that ?

Dude is a clown *** lost negro who used to rob folks in East Flatbush.

Homie can't rap for ****. He's total garbage.

He's trash. And he's a clown. I don't give a **** about his crew getting on. I'm talking about the music. Its trash...and if this ****** was from Delaware you wouldn't be vouching so hard for him.

Why y'all go going so hard for dude? If somebody don't like something I don't...I'm not going to defend dude like I'm in his crew. Chief Keef is trash...but I like BFTD.I damn sure wouldn't be going so hard at anyone who said Keef was trash.

If you got your guilty pleasures...fine. We all do. But don't sit and try to call dudes out for having a different opinion
