QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

NT comes through

CP and MF hug coming up next

Nah CP will never admit to being wrong. He usually just disappears

Disappears? I have like 50,000 posts dude, I don't disappear.

And are you going to side with MF, and claim that INT% is not a better indicator than flat totals? :nerd:

MF brings a good argument to the table and you keep ignoring it because it doesn't help you

@AdamSchefter: Through two weeks, Andrew Luck’s PFF quarterback rating is 60.95, last in the NFL. Titans QB Marcus Mariota is sixth with a 97.91 rating.

Yes the league average for interceptions per game (.9) and interception pct ( 2.5) in 2014 is on par with Andrew Luck's career interception numbers (.96) and (2.5) and 4.7 TD pct

Other active NFL quarterback numbers

AR12- 0.5 INT per game.....1.2 int pct....6.5 TD pct

TB12- 0.6 INT per game...2.0 int pct...5.5 TD pct

Peyton- 0.9 INT per game...2.6....5.8 TD pct

Romo- 0.7 INT per game...2.6 int pct....5.7 TD pct

Brees- 0.96 INT per game....2.6 int pct...5.3 TD pct

Roethlisberger-0.8 INT per game...2.6 int pct....5.1 TD pct

Wilson-0.5 INT per game...2.1 int pct....5.7 TD pct

Rivers-0.8 INT per game...2.6 int pct....5.4 TD pct

Flacco-0.8 INT per game...2.5 int pct....4.0 TD pct

Ryan-0.8 INT per game...2.3 int pct...4.6 TD pct

Newton- 0.8 INT per game...2.8 int pct...4.3 TD pct

Kaepernick- 0.51 INT per game...1.8 int pct....4.4 TD pct

Smith- 0.6 INT per game...2.4 int pct....3.9 TD pct

Tannehill- 0.8 INT per game...2.4 int pct.....3.8 TD pct

Eli-1 INT per game...3.2 int pct...4.7 TD pct

Stafford-1.1 INT per game....2.8 int pct...4.2 TD pct

Dalton-1 INT per game...3.0 int pct...4.8 TD pct

Cutler-1.1 INT per game...3.4 int...4.7 TD pct

Bradford- 0.82 INT per game....2.3 int pct...3.3 TD pct

Carr-0.7 INT per game....2.0 int pct...3.7 TD pct

Andrew Luck is ahead of the guys you'd expect but are his numbers better than of the elites or "top 10" quarterbacks?

Now list attempts per game for each one.

Yeah, the guy that rates Tannehill from his sophomore year in college, rates players on Starting Lineup figures, and touts Ferrell Edmunds as a quality football player is really someone you wanna get behind.

Note:

When I asked if a hitter going 1-3 is the same as one going 1-5
Or a scorer getting 20 points on 9 shots is the same as getting 20 points on 20 shots
Or a QB throwing 1 INT in 20 attempts, the same as a QB throwing 1 pick in 40 attempts

He wouldn't answer the question and "bounced" like you accused me of doing.

Weird that you would see his point of view. Verrrrrrry weird.

You go take the time to list the pass attempts numbers.

I do know off the rough looks did before Brady, Peyton, Brees, Ryan, Stafford, Bradford and Tannehill had comparable attempts per game.

Alright, gimme a lil bit.

I know Stafford is #1, 40 per. Luck is #2, 38 per.

Again no context

John Offerdahl was a great pick for the Dolphins..Offerdahl was an Pro Bowler and an All Pro. I'm pretty sure he even had a Starting Lineup figure laugh.

Trying to turn it into some imaginary rings comment. Whatever you gotta do bro

And yes Ferrell Edmonds was a 2 TIME pro bowler and yes I said I dont think the celling is that much higher for a guy who was forced to play wide reciever in college after losing the quarterback job is non NFL prospect.

And theres no bouncing...sometimes I cant sit by the computer or look at my phone for a couple of hours...you know....then 50 new posts happen with new points.

Shot attempts and at bats are not the same relative to winning as turnovers are in the NFL.

This thread has jumped the shark.

Clearly you guys have more QBs to talk about instead of the same ol 4 or 5 guys.
