The Slam Dunks are going to release in a  “Victory Pack” pack with these. Im also hearing that the official name for the Slam Dunks are "The Spirit Collection of Inoue Takehiko"

Im guessing these are releasing like the Champagnes and Cigars did. So that means that retail is going to be $250 :smh: . Good news is that the Slam Dunks might be easier to cop now since most of the attention is going to those.

Don't know why they would give the 'Slam Dunks' that official name. I understand that he(Inoue Takehiko) is the author, but the shoe itself is commemorating his main character Sakuragi Hanamichi. Unless JB plans to release future colorways featuring SLAM DUNK Characters. Like a pair of Rukawa Kaede 5's :nerd:

All red upper (Shohoku CW)
Number 10 on the heel (Sakuragi's number)
All of the 3M images are of Sakuragi Hanamichi
and of course the Jordan VI silhouette because that was the first pair of basketball shoes he wore in the comics.

Here are all the scenes that i found on the shoe:

I can see where the 'Victory Pack' Idea comes from.
The Slam Dunk shoe has scenes from the final game in the comic, where Shohoku plays
powerhouse Sannoh, who have WHITE and BLUE jerseys. Hence the white and blue CW of the 'First Championship' shoe.

But what doesn't make sense is the name 'First Championship.'
Shohoku did NOT win a championship after defeating Sannoh. It was more of a huge victory because they were not favored to win.

'Victory Pack' makes sense because the 'First Championship' shoe represents Sannoh.
and the 'Slam Dunks' represent Shohoku, but more representing Sakuragi Hanamichi because it was his biggest accomplishment.

inb4 TLDR, but I'm a huge SLAM DUNK fan and I am excited for these.

What do these 2 shoes have 2 do with the Theme Name, "VICTORY PACK",? Ok I know the History about the Slam Dunk 3M pair, Its A Japan Cartoon Of A dominant BBALL
player. I take it he's the MJ of Japan BBALL? Ok Yea So put A shoe together for that wich what is done but why on A VI? Probably because it's the year of the VI ok.
So what does this white VI have 2 do with a"Victorious" Name?

I think my above post will answer your second question

But Sakuragi Hanamichi is NOT the MJ of BBall. quite the opposite.
His character is actually a new-comer to basketball, but he picks up the basics extremely quick.
When is skills begin to develop, you could guess that he's inspired more by Dennis Rodman.
Extreme work ethic, hustles, rebounder, and great defender.

copping the infrared VIs for dirt cheap

traded his 6s for the black/red 1s

if its a pack, i think it would be cool if the pack is 6/1

lol'd hard when the 6s teleported into his hand and he started wiping them. i wish there was a whole anime about sneaker culture. why would he switch some 6s for some 1s though?
