Mike Tyson Vs Bruce Lee #Garcia in my garage bruh

There are weight classes in all combat sports for a reason.

The only way Bruce Lee would actually win is if there were weapons present, and I'm talking about swords, nunchucks, ect.

Tyson isn't a dummy who is going to circle, jab, wait for a right hook and uppercut, when he could easily grab Lee and smash him on the ground.

If you have wrestled before, then you know that at some point size becomes everything, and in a real street fight/ fight to the death atmosphere, breaking fingers or scratching eyes isn't going to stop your opponent from knocking you out (last part coming from Bas Rutten).

Like almost every street fight on the internet, it will go to the ground and Tyson will most likely be the one on top, because of size and strength alone.

I love my man Bruce Lee, but he ain't no Helio Gracie.
All of this.

Repped.

Don't let the movies fool you, Ip Man would be completely worthless in a real life fight

Bruce probably realized this too, thats why he branched off and studied other Martial Arts before finally developing his own.

Stop making so much sense.

Bruce will forever be that dude, but I have a hard time believing he'd come out on top versus Mike in a brawl. Could it happen? Absolutely. But I just don't think the physics are in his favor. Dudes act like Tyson is some slow, gumpy brute and that he wouldn't be quick enough to snatch Bruce up and deal that fight-ending blow. I'm sure Bruce would get his licks in and that Tyson would feel some pain, but Mike is just way too big, fast and strong.

Also worth mentioning is that Mike was bat**** crazy during his prime. Never underestimate the crazy guy.

I'm not saying Mike would win 100%, but based on what we know, how the hell can anyone who doesn't believe in Santa pick Bruce Lee?

Seriously, comparing a pro fighter who we know dominated in an extremely competitive sport where insane amounts of money were at stake with all kinds of evidence to prove this... against someone whose resume consists of tales of street fights against people who could barely be classified as amateur.

Reminds me of kids starting threads asking who would win Mike Tyson or Kimbo Slice back when those Kimbo street fight videos were at their peak.

Lol at comparing a professional championship heavyweight boxer to an Actor. (May he rest in peace)
Videos of actual fights he's partaken in?
Iron Mike makes short work of the actor. Mike is one of the most physically imposing and gifted fighters to ever step into a boxing ring.

I've never seen an actor so mythified that people resort to crap like this. Next we're going to be saying Stephen Segal can beat Tyson.

BDW Tony Jah>>>>>Bruce. He's stronger, hits harder and is almost as quick, as far as fight sequences go.

What size snap back do you wear, bro?

Its actually a fact that bruce lee can beat mike tyson.

Scientifically proven.

Man i heard Yip Man put that work in on Bruce when he was young. If the stories are true bout that dude, he would easily spin kick an eyeball out of tyson's head.

in the end id take tyson 7/10 fights. lee needs the odds stacked with him to come out on top for this one.

Doesn't seem like it's really been touched upon much, but Bruce literally developed his own Martial Art. The precursor for what we know as MMA today.

One that is still taught today. One that at least a few MMA fighters are classically trained in (Ben Saunders for sure. Maybe a few others).

Mike was a boxer. I'm a boxer. I love boxing. Mike definitely has the size advantage.

But the funny thing about Mike is being smaller actually gave him an advantage as a boxer. He was able to get inside and almost underneath taller heavyweights and throw vicious hooks from very close range.

That might not be as easy against Bruce.

Mike also wasn't the most technically sound boxer. We're talking about a guy that most people wouldn't even put in their Top 10/20/30 boxers of all time.

Funny thing is, there isn't a lot, or any video on people widely considered to be the best boxers of all time. So that must not have happened or I must be trolling

As for Mike taking him down and pummeling him, yes, obviously possible but Grappling is a part of JKD. Not many people are Helio Gracie, but against someone that knows zero grappling, if Mike actually INITIATES and takes Bruce down, Bruce would have the grappling advantage.

While yes, it is a movie, Enter The Dragon starts with a submission hold and tap out. Not real like I know, but think about how advanced that is for a film that came out in the early 70's.

No idea who would "win", but some food for thought based on some of the replies so far.

Jeet Kune Do is an amazing martial arts style and Bruce is a legend in the fighting world...but Mike in his prime had about 80lbs over him. I'm pretty sure Bruce could hit like a 200 pounder but I don't see how he could take Tyson in his prime down. Dude was like the real life Jason Vorhees.

The Shaolin Monks didn't improve of Lee's practices all the way....those are the real
