Was thinking that if Real keeps looking like trash like this Bale might have to play in the same position Di Maria did last season. James, Kroos, Modric, and Xabi are great passers and are great at keeping possession, but none of them have been showing the ability to take on a man and drive the ball forward the way Di Maria could out of the midfield.

Idk I know it's really early, the new players need time to gel, I'm probably overreacting, and in the end of the day there's a great manager that will figure it out in charge, but Real has looked like trash in the last 2 matches, and like they're missing their engine in the midfield in Di Maria.

I'm going to miss that about Di Maria. Pick up the ball in midfield and surge forward, making penetrating and dangerous runs. Forcing opposing defenses to think and make mistakes. Started picking out more quality balls in the final third instead of just shooting on his left the past campaign.

In theory Real's team should still work the way they're set up though. As the season progresses and chemistry develops there should also be a lot less offsides than we saw last match.

No surprise . One of the suspected reasons behind why they were so willing to let go of Di Maria is that he wanted to have the chance at signing someone like Falcao

abovelegit hasn't showed up since Real Madrid won the champions league and Barca lost the league last season, literally to a cue. We think Spain losing the way it did in the World Cup added another nail to the coffin.

If there were spots open on RM available for him to play, that would be a great move for Reus, but I can't see him picking there to play.

If it's true I love the move for RM. He's extremely versatile and can fill anywhere in the front 3 or even possibly the 2 advanced midfield roles the way Di Maria did last season.

Btw until we start dominating I'm not gunna stop talking about Di Maria
