@RoOk, I wouldn't root against Juve just because of their ultras. There are Barca ultras that are racists too. Fact is a lot of Europe has become more racist in the modern era than it ever was previously.

I wouldn't say it's just the ultras. Juve has always had a very strong racist element even in their casual fans. It's part of the reason why I didn't understand Pogba's choice (to join Juve, not to leave United), and why I laughed at their club when they got caught up in their scandal. Serie A is really bad when you look at some of the smaller clubs too. Bananas and monkey chants are standard procedure out there.

Tune in to the Copa Libertadores game? Forget about it, most in here are Euro snobs who won't watch any football besides the CL, Premier League and La Liga.

Don't even @ my name until you tune into a PSL match that IS NOT the Soweto Derby
Some of us are suffering in the name of "support".

Not gonna lie... have very little interest in leagues outside of Europe... oh whale

I actually like the GK kit and love the sleeves

I'll watch the BPL, Bundesliga, La Liga, CL, some Europa.

I never catch Serie A or Ligue 1 no matter how hard I try  I always miss it

What's so snobbish about enjoying certain leagues? I swear some of you anti snobs are worse than actual footy snobs worrying so much about what other people are watching

The tottenham jerseys are awful. They look like they are from 2001. I remember adidas used to have youth jerseys with the sash look. Like two bold lines ours were red and black.

Every year i say the same thing "please Under Armor make a good Tottenham jersey so i can buy one" and for the 3rd year in a row now i won't be purchasing. I really should have copped the original away jersey the blue one they made was the best by far. Maybe their away this year will be better :rolleyes

I grew up with 2 Argentinean families as well as a Mexican & Nigerian family (& a New York Italian). My introduction to football was Argentine Primera Division & Liga MX in the mid 80s. The main reason I got the Spanish language channels (which I've had for years) was for the football in Mexico & South America. :rolleyes

@louislagerfeld is a football hipster though, the kind that thinks he's not but is "worser".

Gonzalo Higuain said he would retire if Napoli didn't beat Dnipro to advance to the EL final. :nerd: Dnipro defender Artem Fedetskiy is calling homie out & said he's waiting for the presser.

NTer @mgc232 said this of the stripe on the Spurs home shirt in the kit & boot thread in the Nike section.

downwards sloping 45 degree angle represents club's "negative spiral." #61neveragain #foreverinourshadow

Good Friday, everybody.

Rumors:
- Real Madrid is considering candidates to replace Carlo Ancelotti, with Zinedine Zidane, Jurgen Klopp, Rafa Benitez, Roberto Mancini and Andre Villas-Boas in the picture

- Manchester United is desperate to land Gareth Bale this summer and is preparing to sell both Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie in order to shave £500,000-a-week off its wage bill. Madrid will demand at least £80m for the Welshman

- Louis van Gaal has made Harry Kane his No. 1 striker target this summer, even if Manchester United has to spend upwards of 45 million pounds to land the Tottenham star. The Red Devils have £150m to spend this summer and also want Danny Ings

- Marseille striker Andre Ayew will leave the French club for the Premier League this summer to join either Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool. The Ghana international has decided to leave Ligue 1 and the race is on to land him on a free

Koke said he will remain at Atleti despite rumors of a Chelsea transfer. He was also quoted earlier in the week as saying he wanted Madrid to win so there would be another all Spanish CL final.

Ancelotti is rumored to have signed a non-binding pre-contract agreement that will allow him to join Manchester City if he gets fired from Madrid...

Andre Ayew with 9 goals in 24, and 8 goals in 29 for the past 2 seasons, I'm confident to say that he will NOT end up at two of the clubs that are mentioned there.

Manchester United are considering an ambitious £40 million move for Harry Kane, the Tottenham Hotspur and England striker, this summer. (James Ducker)

Apparently for 40million pounds?!?! I'd rather go throw that 40mil at Lacazette and test the waters...

I saw that price and couldn't really believe it . 40m pounds after 1 good season   :x :x. Like you said, I'd much rather spend that on someone like Laca,Benz,Muller,Lewa etc.

The manager of a Turkish third league team, Çorum Belediyespor, rented a lifting crane to watch his team’s playoff game, after he was banned from entering the stadium.

Zouma, Oscar and Ramires are all done for the season after injuries. Cech could play against Sunderland.

Injury update ahead of United vs Arsenal

Louis van Gaal has confirmed Luke Shaw and Wayne Rooney are both unavailable for selection ahead of Manchester United’s Barclay Premier League match against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Shaw took a blow to the face during the first half of last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace and was replaced by Jonny Evans, before Rooney was withdrawn for Radamel Falcao at half-time after sustaining a painful dead leg at Selhurst Park.

Robin van Persie has been declared fit to face his former club after the Dutchman missed the trip to South London due to a virus. Angel Di Maria is also available for action after recovering from injury, as is his Argentinian compatriot Marcos Rojo.

During his weekly interview with MUTV, van Gaal was asked first about Shaw and Rooney: "The situation is not positive for us, they cannot play, neither of them.

"Yes it is a short term thing, we have only one match to play, so I think it will be difficult for them to play again this season."

Pressed further on United's other injured players, the boss continued: "Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie are able to play. Rojo has trained this week with us, he could play."
