I'm glad Chelsky (or Chelskie?) let Cech stay in London where he wanted. Class move. Took Wenger 10+ years but he finally got a solid keeper... :tongue:

Edit - Rumors popping up again of Wenger making another bid (£28.5m) for Carvalho. After having watched him in the EL this & a few times with Portugal... I expected to see more from him. It's like when I went to Five Guys burgers for the first time. I was good but I expected a lot more. Was I expecting too much in both instances?

the big rumor i keep seeing is he's been contacting the galaxy to come and play for us immediately. who knows what the truth is though. ill welcome ronnie with open arms if he comes though :smokin

Yea me too. I just don't get it why Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard are appealing to some fans but Ronaldinho is playing in Angola or some terrible Mexican team.

He's better than those dudes combined and he actually has some flair and appeal. I won't be tuning in to watch Gerrard potentially kick a long ball, or maybe slip and fall, or maybe get a red card in 30 seconds -

Tell me Dinho will playing on NYCFC, I'm tuning in.

I've been watching them off my dvr... Just got done watching England vs Portugal... :smh: @ this English team. Only one that gave any kind of effort was Arry Kane... None of the other should be allowed to wear the Three Lions crest. I'd get rid of the lot of them. Just a pathetic effort. I think a lot of these kids play first test ball in the Prem too which is a real indictment on the game there.

I did see a great great great effort from Carvalho though who I just posted about earlier today. He was an absolute beast in the midfield. Great defensive work & kept play very wide which seemed to make the English players not care about chasing or pressing the ball. Really enjoyed watching him & Joao Mario who scored the game's only goal in the 0-1 Portugal win.

I hope that Lionel can lead Argentina to win the Copa América and then a World Cup,” Cholo told TyC Sports.

What the South American coach did leave clear was his view that “in recent years there has not been any player who has come close to Messi”, while at the same time he explained that for now he has no plans to coach the Argentine national team as he sees himself as a “day-to-day” coach.

Simeone also spoke about Luciano Vietto, whose transfer to Atlético Madrid is all but confirmed.

“I hope that he can give us many things. He reminds me a lot of David Villa, although not with the same goalscoring ability,” he said.

Finally, he was asked about the offers that he received this summer, although this is the area in which he was the most hermetic.

“Atlético always had the priority. In addition, there are not many teams who are better in a sporting sense. There aren’t six teams better than us. Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, maybe Chelsea, and then us. Financially we are in the [top] 15,” he concluded.

So I guess That Monaco experiment is over, officially, especially after letting Kondogbia go. They had a pretty good season too.

Can someone please FREE Moutinho then!!! On loan at least. The way he tore up Arsenal in the champions league :smokin

I'd love to see Moutinho somewhere. He was a joy to watch this previous campaign especially in the CL.

His touch on the ball & passing is so fun to watch...
