Overrated Restaurants...

Frenchys are opening everywhere in Houston now

Don't go to French if you in a hurry......they take forever and overrated.

But breakfast klub is great
 
I had the best meatloaf of my life at this restaurant in Jacksonville, also had some banging *** meatloaf at a place in New Haven. With that said I would never order meatloaf from a chain, especially not from rain forest cafe.

How is roscoes overrated when it's like a good 4 of em or so? [emoji]128514[/emoji] you pf changs all over and their food is below avg like a mug.

They word of mouth good that's not overrated and their prices are just.

see and just being honest i think places like them picadilly etc... going have a wide range of opinions based on where you from and race... Like i frequent and lived all over just being in the military, and going especially places up north, things like soul food is usually disgusting because having family and lived in the south that deep deep south ive had the real deal. Whereas as a cat from iuno nyc, or philly more then likely hasnt so their/those brands of food might be real and seem like true southern/soul food cause thats all they know. 

Especially again like with race. an asian guy from seattle taste and ideal of good soul food/southern food will more then likely vary from a black dude from topeki, alabama. same way a hispanic dude from boca raton idea of good asian/chinese food will probably be different then a asian etc guy who had it from birth and eat at a local spot like his family in san fran.

Thats just how it is and so your gonna get all across the board opinions especially on ethnic specific foods when comparing them with ppl from different ethnic groups and areas of town, especially when your comparing something thats specific to your ethnic group or the city/area you from as oppose to the next man who isnt your ethnicity and from an area not known for that cuisine.

that one place sbarro i think pizza... its decent etc... but folks be acting like italian immigrants are in the back making the food from scratch

hella over priced small *** portions and it taste okay at best
 
Cosign on Roscoe's. It's good but I've been to better ones with much bigger portions.

OP should change the title of the thread to "Places i've eaten at that I don't like".

People are totally misusing the word "overrated".

I know it's not in Cali, but if you're ever in the Phoenix area... hit up Lo-Lo's. Because of them, I'll never waffles at any Roscoe's ever again.

Next time you go to TJ, look for the Tempura Chicken. I think it's a lot better than the OC because the chicken doesn' t get all soggy. The OC is good, don't get me wrong... but the Tempura Chicken stays crispy even when drenched with the sweet and sour sauce (or whatever sauce it comes with).

Distance from in-n-out to my home walking. Having tried 5 guys for the first time, it was sooo good. The price though is why I probably won't go back.
