You're annoyed that people identify as gay when they are attracted to members of the same sex? That's what being gay means.
Once you understand the definition of homosexual (or even heterosexual), you'll understand why it's not a choice.
You don't choose the gender you're attracted to. Similarly, you don't choose the foods you like or the sports you like.

I can understand some of your arguments, but some are way out there for reasoning.
Yes, a person is not a doctor until he goes to school and graduates - the same person did a internship, gave prescriptions, performed medical duties, but he was still not a doctor until he graduates. At least legally I mean ...
However, that's very different from what a person is attracted to. Take for example a Pedophile, he is attracted to young children but might never act on his feelings. Does this mean he is not a Pedophile according to you?
Although skewed - I can believe a person that has sex with the same sex might not be bisexual or homosexual ... Might have done it cause of various different reason.

It's a temporal thing. Today they are lesbian, next week they aren't. I've said multiple times that sexuality is temporal.
They choose to act on that impulse at that time, but if they never choose to act in said impulses then they are 'asexual' (for lack of a better term)
