Ok so went into HOH today just to shop and remember I posted that convo between the manager about the app and that they don't care they will still going to do FCFS.

Well I guess he got a little shook and call the DM about it. Apparently the DM didn't even know about this app or that particular store was doing a app reservation.

Ok you as company seem to be pushing this app. How in the **** are you not informing or telling you workers or big whigs about it?

So the DM had to ask the person over him about it. Even though one of our stores is for the app reservation, they are still doing fcfs for releases per DM. So GA and FL are test dummies (this is known), the app should be nationwide by December and come to find out they are strict on employees as far as getting their pair. They can't switch up on if they want a shoe or not. They have to make up their mind right then and there. If they want a shoe and do not purchase it in 3 chances, they will not be able to purchase for the next 10 releases.

Hmmm that must mean a customer get's a strike for not picking up there reservation? So let's take the reseller out of the equation and say a person want's 1 pair of black toe's and hit all 3 of his house of hoops. He only picks up from one but not the other 2. Is that consider some type of strike against the person because they did not pick up the other 2 pair?

You can only win one pair from the brand (i.e. 1 pair of black toes from FTL or FA or Champs).

nothing on niketalk offends me anymore

i'm a reseller of shoes big deal

not a big deal at all, I'm also a reseller of shoes. I personally sell shoes in my collection that I no longer want/need. If anyone has ever sold a pair of shoes they purchased, guess what? you're a reseller.

The term "reseller" doesn't just apply to the dudes who have 20 pairs in their trunk or who post 100 boxes on social media. Reselling is a legitimate, legal way to make money. Houses, stock, sneakers, fine art..... it's all the same. Buy low, sell high, easy math.

I've never understood the negative attitude towards other men making easy money, why would you not want to pick up a $20 bill?

Selling out of your collection is one thing, but the problem is when resellers buy up FSRs of shoes, have bots, etc., which make it extremely hard for people who want to actually wear the shoe, to cop.  It may be legal way to make money, assuming they're paying uncle Sam taxes on each sale, but many times they way the shoes are obtained are questionable.

Exactly....No problem with resellers at all, i do it sometimes myself.........but i dont rag on changes like this when they come, i take them in stride and adapt. (I also dont buy FSR or any crap like that, only 5 max)

I've had all 3 loyalty programs since they were started because i worked at champs and knew they`d eventually do something like this.

That was over 10 years ago , so i didnt imagine it would take THAT long for it to finally come to fruition, but it did...........Better late than never.

Well at least it gives you the option to say no I don't want these shoes [emoji]128584[/emoji] Of course I won't the cyber Monday 3 and not the yeezys [emoji]128514[/emoji]

So if you say no or don't respond within the reservation time, you think you get put on some sort of restriction list next time?

I got picked for them boring jordan 3's

But i passed on the shoe

Gives me little faith that'll be picked for something I really want since this was a shoe nobody wanted

I got a message reminder to pick up my shoes this morning even thought I canceled the pickup last night

Did anyone else get a message reminder this morning ?

not buying all that priority stuff at all outside of what gives you the better head starts

that type of complexity is not easy

a lot of these phone apps barely function on the lowest level of sophistication

From what I was told by an employee at the store when I picked up my pair this morning is that if there are a particular number of people who reserved a pair and the stock exceeds those that reserved, you'd be able to pick up more than 1 pair as opposed to only winning one.

Whereas in raffle tickets, you're only allowed to pick up one per person. People will start picking up on the app reservation but my experience this morning was that only a few people reserved in the app. Another guy came in and asked if they had a size and he was told he would be able to grab it since not many people reserved.

None of the prioritizing or picking is done via the app, it's all server side.

What shoe are you talking about? Surely the CM 3's and not the 750's?? I would surely have loved to grab another pair since I made the trip today.
