So, we're back at war in Iraq/Syria. Still think we should have pulled out of Iraq?

It's so tiring to read how the US should react to this situation going on overseas.

This is a CIA funded and created organization with the help from Mossad. ISIS was nowhere to be found a year ago. Now they're powerful enough to scare the US into launching air strikes? Really?

A couple of home made videos (which looked faker than a 1970 Hollywood scripted action film) of some guys with British accents cutting off at the head, and now the whole world is scared?

Have we forgotten how many heads and bodies are being chopped in the deep trenches of Mexico? Or are we just going to pretend that doesn't happen because there are "Muslims" doing the same thing in a area where trillions of dollars worth of oil are being produced?

This middle east conflict going on since the desert storm days have been about two things, and two things only: Take over the lucrative oil fields and eliminate the Muslim population surrounding Israel so they would become the most powerful country in the Middle East.

That's it. But keep believing what these Zionist controlled media news channels are telling ya', the brainwashing is in full effect.

^^^^ that's the thing I see and hear so many people against these wars
But how do we keep going back
What can we as citizens do to stop this
I mean it is OUR money funding these air strikes
How can we tell them we don't wanna do this

Tower 7 bro.
Wikipedia:
On September 11, 2001, 7 WTC was damaged by debris when the nearby North Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. The debris also ignited fires, which continued to burn throughout the afternoon on lower floors of the building. The building's internal fire suppression system lacked water pressure to fight the fires, and the building collapsed completely at 5:21:10 pm, according to FEMA,[7] while the 2008 NIST study placed the final collapse time at 5:20:52 pm.[8] The collapse began when a critical internal column buckled and triggered structural failure throughout, which was first visible from the exterior with the crumbling of a rooftop penthouse structure at 5:20:33 pm. The collapse made the old 7 World Trade Center the first tall building known to have collapsed primarily due to uncontrolled fires,[9] and the first and only steel skyscraper in the world to have collapsed due to fire.[10]

So the feds hijacked our own planes to crash into world trade centers that housed several businesses, law firms for to start a fake war on terror so we can get our hands on some oil?

"Two weeks after the September 11 attacks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation connected the hijackers to al-Qaeda,[1] a global, decentralized terrorist network. In a number of video, audio, interview and printed statements, senior members of al-Qaeda have also asserted responsibility for organizing the September 11 attacks.[2][3][4]"

You college even once ma? First thing they teach you in any comp class...never cite Wikipedia...it's not credible. I can legit go on there right now and say Donald Duck was behind 9/11, and publish it was no restriction. Carry on though.

The bolded part has three citations to support it.

We aren't writing papers here. You're nitpicking.

Isis is doing more than beheading journalists. Ppl really need to search harder to see what these guys have done and are continuing to do

What Animal Thug said...

Now, as we watch day-by-day in the media, we can see that we are on the brink of a replay of our last failure: Iraq. So, at the risk of exposing myself to the charge that I am an ivory-tower historian, allow me a minute or so of "chatter" on how we got where we are and speculate on what might happen.

[...]

Saddam's sin was not what he did in Iraq but that he thwarted us on two issues America would not tolerate his interference: oil in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and Israel's relation with the Palestinians and its regional dominance. War could have been avoided by adroit diplomacy but it was avidly embraced in 2003 by the George W. Bush administration and its neoconservative guides. Their policy convinced the Iraqis that nothing they could do would stop it. They were right. We fired the broadside.

In the broadside we destroyed not only Saddam's regime. Inevitably; we killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, our use of depleted uranium artillery shells is believed to have caused a seven-fold rise in cancer among survivors; our bombs, shells and the nearly 1,000 cruise missiles we fired destroyed much of the country's infrastructure and caused millions of people to lose their homes, their jobs and their access to education and public health care. And, most important, in the chaos that followed the invasion, the fragile "social contract" that had linked together the inhabitants was voided. Terror set the rules. Hope disappeared in misery. Whole neighborhoods were emptied as violent and newly empowered armed men "ethnically cleansed" them. Former neighbors became deadly enemies. The government we installed made Saddam's regime appear in contrast as civil libertarian.

A whirlwind, as the Old Testament warns us, is the inevitable reaction to the sowing of the wind of war. That is what we are seeing today in Iraq. Now, it seems, President Obama has decided to try whistling in the wind.

Whistling in the wind is the least dangerous interpretation of Mr. Obama's decision to put 300 "advisors" into Iraq—where have we heard of such a move before! Those of us who are old enough will remember that President Kennedy began in the same way.

I hate that "isis" etc are referred to as Muslim terrorist organizations nobody ever calls Ted Kaczynski a catholic terrorist, propaganda at it's finest, the US should face charges for constantly dragging an entire religion thew the mud for the sake of a make believe war.

2-3 years ago we funded ISIS ("Free Syrian Army") against Assad in Syria, a conglomerate of CIA/MI6/MOSSAD/SAUDI force.

Now the U.S. is funding al-Nursa, which is a branch of al-Qaeda. Not too long ago, al-Nursa and ISIS were planning on merging.

This is such a joke.

ISIS beheading those dudes was them begging for us to intervene and we fell right for it.

Allegedly. These people are so "ruthless", but then have a conscious about showing the actual beheading?

This is what flies over a lot of peoples heads, the party line is in reality very blurred since some of the most ardent conservatives and liberals in congress are largely backed by the same corporate contributors and interest groups.

I see your point and on some policies you're right. But you can't tell me that, for instance, the Obama and Reagan administrations governed the same way and implemented the same policies? One was conservative, the other very liberal. Different foreign policy, different domestic policy. One was great and rejuvenated the country after the disaster of Jimmy Carter. The other is sucking.

Speaking of Reagan in such a positive regard shows me that me an you cannot see eye-to-eye on this subject.

Ironically all of this Civil War in the middle east has been because the U.S. plays both sides.

Also, the Iranians could eliminate the ISIS problem if given the opportunity.

The war is legit.  Keep bombing them.

Oh look, it's you again. The same person that said this before in another thread:

Since WHEN WAS WAR HUMANE?  You tell me.  I'm pretty much done with this.  I can't try to ingest a point with out SOME OF you folks bringing up the same thing again.  You think Rome, the US, and great Empires in the past really cared about 'ethics', or 'morals', or 'humanity' as you call it?

The SAME DEBATE can be brought up about the ATOMIC bomb!  Was that justified?  How can you even measure war?  YOU CANNOT!

Anyways, you folks take care.

Some of you guys are naive, believing such countries with deep history of warfare and hate to resolve themselves so easily.  Like I've SAID, look at NORTH and SOUTH KOREA.  As some of you have said, it's 2014, but why haven't they unified?  Liberal my butt.  Warefare goes on constantly, whether it be humane or not is not for  YOU TO SAY, because WAR IS NOT HUMANE!

We all know where you stand with the Middle East getting bombed and killed and expecting no reciprocation.

The intolerant "MURICA" attitude that you carry in most political threads is the same carried by middle of nowhere living Americans who think the world and the colors red, white and blue revolve around you.

Sit down.

I'm not about to type out a essay cause I'm on mobile but it's A LOT more complicated than how you're making it seem

I sometimes wish we could just go into total war with them and finish it off quick.

Reagan was a good president and did an awesome job, the 80's were pretty good because of his administration. But you can argue a lot of today's problems also come from his administration.

US was blamed fot acting to slow to the vids. Funny thing is, war these days are broadcasted on utube, and news conferences. lol Why u gotta tell the enemey ur strategy?

funding them? well go back.to ww1 and ww2. look at how countries and nations switch sides. so yes, its possible the IS funded everything, the world still evolves against the US follar. LOLZ

If you're Obama, what do you do?
