Same could probably be said about Paul Walker. I only really se a difference in his role between F&F and Pleasantville. Maybe I need to see more of his films?
Denzel has more range for sure, his role in Philadelphia is completely different from Training Day to Flight to Malcolm X. He does have several films where you can just switch em up and you won't be able to tell the difference but that goes with most actors. Only a handful can really immerse you and make you believe they are a different character in most of their films.
