Houston Rockets Thread - Preseason vs Spurs (Friday)

The amount of "Rockets should trade Dwight and move on" tweets and posts were funny as  even at that point when it was like 82-68, how are you foolish enough to say that when Dwight has been your best player in a Rockets uni for both of these playoff runs? So many goofy ***** still caught up in his personality instead of his actual game. 20 points and 21 rebounds, but other goofy fanbases are saying we need to "cut [our] losses" because a player has the gall to choose another team over the Lakers. Hmph.

He just rustles jimmies cause he's so good, but at the same time, makes mind boggling decisions that just seem like a lack of focus. And watching him shoot free throws is infuriating

But trading him, nah

YO! What the hell happened. Literally turned the game off after the Clippers went up by 19 in the 3rd and thought I was still dreaming when I woke up this morning  It baffles me how the Rockets don't seem to lock in until they're pushed to the brink...if they would play that way all the time they'd have cruised into the Conference Finals. Oh well, normally I'd say no way LA comes in here and wins a game 7 but they've lost a 3-1 lead before only to win game 7 on the road.

Should be a good one on Sunday.

Congrats on the series win. I don't see any team that can beat you guys in a 7 game series.

A funny hidden highlight from last night, during Josh Smith's possessions of greatness, you can tell at times he was dying to launch 3s, but you could see him think about it and make the right decision, whether it was a pass, or making sure he was wide open before he shot it.

but even then 2 of his threes were him dribbling it then just pulling it

I think they were both on DJ he wasn't really open but he had just enough room to get a good look and he shot em

About 30 minutes ago, the rockets released a limited number of upper level seats behind the baskets for $120.

And pretty much instantly the same seats appeared on flash seats for $200+.

The whole secondary market thing is the biggest crock of ****.

The rockets make money off the original tickets and fees that go a long with it, then they get part of the buyer and seller fees on flash seats. They're basically profiting off the same tickets multiple times.

Do you guys know where I could find video of the 2002 NBA Draft Lottery?

Flash seats is dumb.

Paperless. Rockets own it all pretty much.

Fees for seller. Then a 20% plus $2 plus tax.

What kind of sham is that.

Oh well. We'll leave that for later discussion.
