THE WAR on MAKEUP: Is there a logical reason why women get to indulge in a cheat code?

It's an industry that's such a norm and will never cease to exist, but just think about what makeup is for a second.

50 percent of the population wakes up, takes a shower, and lives out their days with a dose of self-respect because you know, that thing that we have, our face, does not need a cloak -- does not need an enhancement -- does not need to be closed down for the winter like a swimming pool.

The other 50 percent wakes up, puts on something that is a daily, subconscious reminder of "I need to cover this up" "It's normal to cover this up" Oh, your face? We don't even know the mental effects of that type of subliminal ego shot being sent every 24 hours, or more frequently for the "time for bae to re-applyyyyy" group are. There are zero health benefits related to makeup that couldn't be achieved more simply without it.

"It corrects the things that we can not always correct on our own"
It doesn't "correct ****", it's the plastic bag on your drivers side window until you think everything's back to normal.

"It's pretty"
A lot of things are.

"Makeup is an art!" "Makeup is a way to be expressive!"
Just shut up.

Please just wear your face -- everybody -- it's good enough.

I don't mess with women with make up.

I've always knew it says something about your personality.

Weave, make up and color contacts = automatically wifey disqualification

makeup and heels especially subconsciously scream to every man "**** me"

think about it....the chick is leaning forward with her butt up in the air at 30 degrees higher, ready for insertion

calling this sorcery is not only on point, but the word "glamor" is actually an old word for a special spell witches used to do back in the middle ages.

>chemicals caked on your face, push up bra, spanx, press on nails, extensions
>"I want a real man"

This doesn't really bother me.

The pictures posted are def extremes but if she is ugly make up can only go so far.  If you get got...thats on you.  I think i can tell if a girl is busted with or without make up on.

That being said.  I always wondered why male make up hasn't really taken off on some double standards type steez.  Men wear skinny pants, skirts and other female things....but for some reason the make up bridge hasn't been breached.  *waits for young thugs male make up line to get poppin in the streets

Definitely agree with you guys, but there's nothing wrong with a little eye candy. From my experience, they have very little to offer anyway once you get the buns.

If dudes only learned to look past the makeup, they'd see there's plenty of "real" quality girls out there. It's all about them 7's, word to the Vick jersey.

If all these beauty standards weren't placed on women by society and the media...make up and surgery would be less popular. But you go to buy a pack of gum and through your peripherals all you see is magazines graced by "beautiful" women who are enhanced through makeup, plastic surgery, photoshop, etc. Thats what they have to compete with, so when they wake up in the morning their self esteem is on the floor. Women are judged on their physical appearance more than men and it affects how they're treated on a day to day basis. Instead of bashing them for caking on make up, try embracing their natural beauty.

If everyone's on the same playing level and there's no makeup, then (to compare it to the parents in Colorado freaking out about the legalization of marijuana intertwining with Halloween) the little eye candy is actual candy and not an edible you weren't prepared for.

We shouldn't have to look past the makeup in my opinion.

not a fan of too much make up, and it getting on my clothes... but not a big deal to me.

society be tearing these girls heads up tho.
