Jordan Retro 1 High “Laser” aka Custom Lasers Thread

There's some truth in what sephu6 sephu6 is saying, not that the numbers will change anything aesthetically about the shoe. Once you slap that "ONLY 2000" pairs on 'em, it will change the perception of the shoe. A lot of the sneaker community is attracted to that label. Current example is the NYC1's since when they dropped heads were dropping a stack and now after numerous restocks and not "ONLY 800" pairs, heads won't try to drop more than 3. Nothing about the shoe looks different it's the same from RD but the perception has changed. Sometimes the supply creates the demand. JD's aren't a good looking shoe but with ONLY 800 pairs people copped 3 hunnit dollar hats to cop...

NA I's are still more limited than a typical release.

You could say the same about the black and gum release. If they were like NY's yada yada

It's just that they're charging $185 for them.
Tack on 20 releases each weekend of February, them not being an OG colorway and it's easy to see why they are sitting.
The Knicks, black/gum and Celtics all were around for a while. And I thought they were ok.

I like I's, but $185? I can't even see myself paying $165 out of principal. The leather is nice as hell, but $185 without tax?

A kid has a choice of some Kyrie's for $110 or some $185 for some I's? Which one do you think he'll pick?

^ I feel like these would sell out if they were in frag numbers not necessarily because of hype but because there just wouldn't be enough to go around for everybody... Supply and demand

later down the road, people will regret for not copping this shoes

- 30th year anniversary Jordan 1
- Laser Edition
- Remastered Leather
- Remastered OG Height
- Nike Air Tag
- White Base Shoes -

I don't regret copping this pair because of those reasons.

I copped for those exact reasons.
I only want the 1s and 4s tho... Later down the road they may be jewels.

That was my point. You say it about any shoe and the result would pretty much be the same result. Limited like frags or NYC1s for 185? Which one do you think they'll choose?

Finally caved & Got these from my local Champs. And HOLY ****ZLE are these things amazing in hand & feet! Now I see why it was at $185 the leather is so soft & the comfort is jus mannnnn amazing! Might double up on these when I can!

I must admit the "Remastered" versions are better, quality wise. I got these and the French Blue 7s and I tried on the Columbia 4s. The leather was better than my other 7s and 1s. And they do feel better on feet.

Trust. When the dust settle, these will be in demand. I see these going for shadow prices in 2-3 years. Demand is low because the multitude of shoes dropped in the past 2 weeks. I am sure these were made in the same ball park numbers of black/red, royal and shadow 1's. Those were limited gr releases and so are these. All stores did not get, and the ones that did (minus nyc probably) didn't get past a fsr or two

I agree. There's a marked increase in quality since the turn of the year and it looks like continuing as the 4 Oreo is also very well made.

@jacksodk  SAME thing I said... ppl will sleep on em until they are in demand and then they will have to pay the price. To me it's just like how they use to have the packs that come out, but like a "create your own pack" kind of thing.

@ACW NJ  Yea I gotta grab the Oreos too

I'm glad less people like this Shoes! Happy I copped for ease.

This is a 30th commemorative Jordan 1 with Laser, a must have for Jordan 1 Fans
