BORDEAUX 7S JULY 18th 2015

Dudes in here making it seem like the day of release, with some additional pairs left is "sitting around". Like the shoes were available for purchase for retail for months or something smh.

I remember the 11' release quite well, in fact I bought 3 pairs of them and still have 2 out of the 3 brand new, ds. However, the stores sold out of inventory around me by Sunday night, and I think it was due to the fact that JB did NOT limit production on these and allowed people to get a pair before the weekend was up.

In some cases, dudes were finding pairs throughout the week in scattered sizes, usually from bigger markets. But even still, these were not just "sitting around" like some clearance store sneaker that takes months to sell through. Dudes and their revisionist history. :smh:

Anything less than an instaday sellout is considered SITTING these days

But the last aj retro I remember actually sitting, basically loitering, was the orion 7s

I'm still trying to understand why "sitting" (which is grossly misused as mentioned, along with pretty much all the other sneaker vernacular. Do y'all see what people call "steals" now?) seems to be considered a bad thing.

So many people will enter a conversation about a pair just to say they "sat" and I keep wondering why that isn't something we WANT to happen.

I've witnessed a kid being talked out of buying a shoe he truly wanted just because his friend stated the shoe had been sitting for a couple weeks, no one wants it. So easily he was swayed by just the mention of that. It was astonishing to say the least.

The mindset of having something difficult to obtain really has taken over. Nike has made it into a sneaker game, making those that missout, the losers while those that were able to purchase therefore are victors. People constantly gloating with tweeting and instagraming their order confirmations? Who would of ever thought it would become of this

If say it's people's perceptions of these releases more than anything. Nike didn't make any of this it is more so our thinking that buying sneakers is some stupid type of competition which is why I hate when people call this hobby a "sneaker game" becyase some people view it as having a certain sneaker that many people deem is cool and feel some sort of entitlement heck I see it on these boards at times as well

THE 2011 RELEASE WAS PERFECTLY FINE IMO… AND THAT WOMEN'S FTLOTG PAIR IS HORRIBLY UGLY… EVEN LOOKED LIKE TRUE FLIGHTS AT A GLANCE

I need these ASAP! Damn such a unique and clean colorway without looking too flashy, just the way i like it.

will need these since its my overall grail will probably hand down my current pair to someone to make space.

I'm hoping these drop again. Bought a 2011 pair from my little cousin below retail worn once, and he wears a size bigger than me. I made them work but I want to get that perfect fit.

Hopefully they look like this
I highly doubt it but considering the "Re-Mastered" theme Jordan is giving us it should. Daam thats wut I liked about the Black colorway's of the OG's back in the day.

High grade level hide of that smooth buttery looking Durabuck. Especially on these it stands out Sooo much. Man I;m in ahhhh everytime I see and old OG pick of

Nike Air Jordans.

1 of my all time top 5 OG Jordan colorways.
