Cleveland Police Slay 12 yo boy in playground..VIDEO

*Waits for NT's resident devils to pop up spouting off at the mouth about how the kid deserved it and the cops did nothing wrong*

:rolleyes

not saying he deserved it but what should the cops have done? havent we had issues like this before with kids/teens having guns and killing people?

Drive up and park the car 100 feet a away from the child. Get out of the car and use the car as a shield in case the gun "is" real. Post up like this

I'm sure the child would drop the toy..everyone leaves alive...everyone leaves happy

This aiint tv bruh

if people weren‘t so BIAS and actually started and discussed about police corruption, abuse of powers then it would be a different story. but peeps keep clinging onto one or two CNN headliners and blow it out of hand.

people keep acting like America only bought black and white. that is not the case. the continued belief in racisim fuels it even further when in fact it‘s not always the case.

i don‘t see people get upset about ray rice, lohan, t.stewart, kidd, cosby, j.irsay, problematic people who committ offenses walking unscathed. if you gonna blame justice system, look at other problems too.

trying to use history in such context to justify further division between race is just as absurd. the whole, support so and so only, just cuz he one of us is silly.

so you are saying the cops were trigger hppy and just dying to shoot a child? cops aint that stupid unless they are sick in the head. They did what they had to do, sad what happened. RIP to the kid but if there is anyone to blame it is who ever bought him the gun and let him leave the house with it. The child is not at fault, he was 12 years old playing with a toy, WTH was he supposed to know?

a yr ago a kid got shot and killed out here in the bay area holding a toy gun. think he had the orange tip removed.

In that vid it looks like they sped up on him, he half way turned around and they popped him.

If yall think holding a gun warrants automatic shooting then how come all these kids shooting up schools and movie theaters are still alive?
and Ohio is an open carry state

This doesn't really matter. In states that are open carry, especially in suburban areas cops will still give you a hard time and treat it as if it's illegal. Rural areas might be different.

What the kid was doing was wrong. What the Cops did was worse, and the media bringing the parent's criminal history into this is the absolute worst.

You control the media, you control the people. :smh:

Unless cops run up on you shooting someone I don't see how they just fire away? Scary stuff.

You shouldn't die for doing the wrong thing IMO people aren't perfect

why did the cop drive and park like 2-3 ft away from the kid?
how did he mistake a 12 year old kid as being about 20?

How is this hard to believe, though...? They can actually be that stupid or that crazy.

it's been proven that black boys tend to get overly aged by people.

There was a study... That showed that people over estimated their age by an average of 4.8 years...

Meaning kids that are 13 are looked at like 18 year old men

:smh: :smh: :smh: :smh: :smh:

Police departments needs to do a better job of recruiting actual MEN. Men that aren't scary of small boys with pellet guns. Even if the gun WAS REAL, this wasn't justified. And if the boy had been white there is 0.00000% chance this happens.

Same old story, though.

I'm not are how he got the toy gun, but the parents should have been on top of that.
Growing up Non of my black friends had BB guns or nothin like that and now I realize why.
Cops should've talked to the kid instead of shooting first without questions.

9 times out of 10 if your 12 and have a bb gun your parents didn't buy it for you...I owned 4 of them as a kid and all of them were stolen from stores and other people

my aunt is a retired police officer in cleveland..she says she would have stop him too, but the only thing that would have been different is she wouldn't have pulled up next to him she would have parked then came up on him

race plays apart in it, as does everything else. all experiences in life contribute to future thoughts and behaviors, especially reflexes.

you don't have to be racist to be predisposed to the idea that people of certain appearances are more dangerous than others.

there are stereotypes and "character traits" highlighted in our society that, even though you may not consciously think or notice, still exist in your subconscious because of prior experience

we just gotta be aware of it and take things at face value. everybody is predisposed, but not everyone that exhibits what may look like racist behavior are racist

wow ... I never really participate in these discussions, but that was extremely poor judgement by those cops .... They pulled right up on him, and the poor kid didn't even have a chance to surrender. They can not be that stupid and even if they are, they should pay the price for their stupidity. If they felt threatened, why would they roll up within feet of him?

Holy ****, that is scary ......

There should be tougher recruiting requirements in these police departments. A lot of these cops are scared little girls and use their guys when they get nervous.

With that being said if you're a person of color and want to survive in these streets, you gotta cooperate with these cops, not make sudden movements or wave fake guns at them cuz they shooting on sight
