I agree with Iggy as far as why Banks career aint going nowhere. Her music simply isn't good.
Also, lets not front. Iggy is more successful cuz of her ***. She has massive sex appeal. That probably got her all her dope beats. That'll just give you more chances to blow strictly off of putting your material on youtube and getting big that way.
However, cultural appropriation is real as **** across all boards of entertainment and other mediums that generate any type of cash flow. Not just rap. Thing is it's the handlers and the ppl plotting that are not in the spotlight who are to blame.

Wouldn't call it career suicide. She seems to stay in headlines for something other than her music and she's still here. But it probably isn't helping her career, either.
She's like a female Charles Hamilton. Talented but you'd really like to punch their lips off because they stay talmbout some BS. Their issues outside of making music overshadow the actual music.
