I've never been a fan of these, even back when they first released. They seem to benefit from being an XI, but look nothing like the patent leather version. Easy pass for me and like you thought these would sit for awhile.

Decided to pass on these in favor of the Chrome 6's at the end of the month. Might pick up at a later date.

People are going to hate that they slept on these. The clear soles on these are the best since 09 Space Jams. It's perfectly clear with no tint. Why didn't JB put this true clear color on all clear soles shoes???? Great breathable summer shoe because it's hot as hell here in TX.

I wouldn't go as far as all that.. I.E's have historically been "slept" on, as you put it. I'm sure everyone who wanted a pair today got there's and those who had no interest will likely continue to have no interest down the line. It's okay not to want every retro release. Hell, it's a great feeling looking online and still being able to cop if I wanted to.
Nonetheless, the price increase is definitely a downer (I know beating a dead horse).. But 170$ is a lot when there's so many other upcoming releases. I've put off buying these since the 03's dropped and it looks like I'll have to miss this release again lol. Oh well

Yup , it give it the authentic look that misses all the XI released recently , plus we have a clear toe , not milky like on the 2014 concord ...
I 'll wait on the 19th August to cop these on Nikestore Europe , but i'm really waiting for the black true red !

Yeah the sole but i'm talking about the toe cap , i'm not using the correct word ( should be painted toe cap instead of milky) what i like about the original is the fact you see the upper through it .
