I have no clue why Crawford and J-Roll are not wearing Jordans, I find it odd that both on on the JB roster but neither are wearing the gear this year. Also, Dexter Fowler has been wearing a Jordan Brand wristband but I know he's not on the roster, plus I saw him wearing his regular Nike wristband the other day anyway.

Only thing I can guess his much like Kemp last year he's mixing the hyper punch with the purple. Kemp had some bg's last year that were blue with the hyper punch swoosh. Guess it's another variation of volt.
 
Yeah I see it as the same as Tulo wearing purple and volt BG's and cleats. The hyper punch is just an accent color that CarGo likes and is mixing in with the purple to give his gear his own unique look.
 
^^I'm still undecided. I do like it better than volt as an accent. Just hope it stays an accent and doesn't get over blown like the volt

For the record, I love Volt too, although I'll fully concede that it's getting over saturated. 
 
volt just totally got killed. not just by nike but all the other companies too

the hyperpunch in kemps stuff last year looked great.
 
Volt is a good look but you guys are right...too much!  In the 90's when it was hot it didnt ever go this mainstream.  The punch color can only work for a few teams.  I dont see it as much but I guess I hadn't paid much attention.

I've seen more players go back using older stuff than the current 3/4 sleeves Nike has out now, especially a lot of players using the older Thermalite shirts with the sleeves cut off.

Those thermalite shirts are sweet.
I feel the hyper punch would only work well with the dodgers, nationals, or other teams with red

I guess I am just too big of a fan of the older Nike cleats and BGs that I can't allow the the volt and hyperpunch to reel me in.

I enjoy the simple colors and designs. Companies are trying to do/add too much for my taste.

Can we start a petition for the pox shirts to make a comeback? :smile:

Boombah possibly. Seeing a lot of guys with Cutters elbow guards as well.

Re hyper punch. Agree on limited use. Looked real good w Kemp's dodger stuff. Wouldn't really work with his Padres stuff.
 
Watching the Rockies vs Giants and cargo has some new hyper punch batting gloves there nice! I don't have a pic I'm sure there will be one soon

They have the nubby outsole, it's essentially the same as the pro issue joints that pop up from time to time (1 or 2 pages back in this very thread). Not as good as the destroyer sole unit but plenty grippy for work outs and, depending on what you are trying to do, good for dry ground/field turf
