NT isn't going anywhere. Like op said, a lot of us have grown up and our interests have changed, but we slowly migrated to /14. The people that frequent NT for the kicks and what not will eventually gravitate towards the music forum, the s&t forum, or the general forum. We'll look at them as rookies, but they'll be the ones that ensures NT carries on. It's like a never ending cycle that we can reasonably expect to continue existing as long as people have an interest in sneakers.

:nthat:
This, a lot of the youngins will grow out of the whole shoe faze then go to general.

I knew da final days were upon us when Ninjahood left

There are also people killing for crack and marital problems.

People are animals

They aren't on this message board talking about which member killed who for that

Bring Ninjahood and Megatron back.
Ninjahood needs to make a return. Say what you want, all of dudes post usually made me laugh.

And Boxden. Man, one of the funniest trolls ive seen.

Those unique identities give the forum character, which is why I always wished the rules were a little less stringent.

As long as Jordan keep putting out the 1-14 retros I can see this site being around. So could be 10+ years.

i love niketalk but its too strict fam

i been coming on niketalk since i was in highschool. when i type up curse words and i see a bunch of stars and **** sometimes i think to myself "i must be too old for this website"

Felt the same way about the language filter for awhile. Probably has to do with the sponsors? Always kind of wondered.

It's like, 'im an (almost) grown *** man on a forum of mostly (almost) grown *** men and I can't even see ***?' has bothered me since day 1.

A toggleable ticker in settings for the word filter for posters over 300 posts or anywhere around that area would prevent people just getting creative and appeal to posters who feel mature enough to decide to remove the filter.

I know there a lot of old head NTers who think it's already dead
hop off
hop off all these quick to ban mods dude. also the way from 02-08 NT vs post 2010 it just sucks so much worse.
from the insult slinging to the links, ive been banned for aggressive stuff, my own fault "i guess". but now you get banned at the drop of a hat:

Niketalk has been going on for over 15 years now.

I grew up with Niketalk, since middle school. NT has been there for me through tough times and given me big brotherly advice/criticism.

I've watched and learned about some of you guys, felt your emotions through text.... I witnessed some of you guys make it BIG! I've read about some of you guys hitting rock bottom. Gained so much knowledge, by just trying to comprehend and understand this forum.

I can't imagine it ever going away... and even if it did, i'll be damn if I didn't atleast visit once awhile.

Meth should make an option to turn off the filter.

If a 13 year old turns it off, that's their problem :rolleyes
