Audi’s pavement-pounding R8 has been on sale since 2008. Though there have been some significant mechanical changes over the years, the sports car’s overall design has stayed relatively the same. We hope you like it. Ahead of its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Audi has revealed the first images of the 2016 R8, and it looks more ‘evolution’ than ‘revolution.’

But that’s not to suggest it isn’t an eye-catcher. Front and center, Audi is highlighting the R8′s new LED headlamps, which will feature high intensity laser diode high-beams as an optional extra. The technology, which allows twice the lighting range as LEDs, first appeared on the firm’s R18 e-tron quattro Le Mans racer, and then made its road car debut in the limited-run 2015 Audi R8 LMX

Can't wait to see this and also waiting on the new 5's to get their debut

Funny thing is Audi was the first to make giant grills/fronts like that, they pretty much took Audis grill and squeezed it in the middle and made it their spindle grill.

Is't the A5 sedan the A6? Or do you mean the sportback which is pretty much a mini A7?

the sportback is probably what he means, I don't see them bringing that over here though

Yeah I mean the A5 sportback. They always **** up the rear of the A6/S6 to me.

the Prologue is going to be the basis for next gen Audi models which you can see style cues in the Q7 and R8

Cadillac?

I think it originates more from Audi, Cadillacs grill doesn't really reach from the top to the bottom and almost disappears as it sweeps down of the front. It's just one giant piece and it looks more like a giant mouth while Cadillac still has that division to break the one-piece look apart.

Only talking about modern Cadillacs though not the old Devilles that has that huge radiator grills.

Last I checked most are still going for $80k+ easy with less than 30k miles. Haven't checked the market this year yet though.
