Halal guys carts coming to Cali >NY

I usually end up hitting 53rd & 6th late night whenever I'm in NY.

Having the choice between taco trucks & halal....late nights are only getting better. :pimp:
 
I've gotten it a couple times whenever I'm in NY. It's good and all, but I honestly don't see (or taste) the big deal. I'd rather just go to my local Mediterranean place.
 
Good news! I love Halal Guys whenever I'm in NYC but like over people said, it's a food that serves a specific purpose, late night drunk food. Can't eat it as a normal meal during the day, personally. 
 
I wonder if this food is actually Halal, I remember when I was on in NYC a middle easter cat was like "dont eat street gyros, they use subway rats" lol
 
Halal Guys is available in San Francisco via Caviar app but they only open from 11-1:30pm for lunch. Just had the combo :nthat:
 
Eating this right now at Long Beach. Fire. I know it's better in NY.
 
We got a Halals in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, but they sell seafood.... They some black Muslims or Arabic people... They just showed up recently. Idk if its any affiliation.

the halal guys actually opened their restaurant here...lines were insane.

its on 59 and shepherd

but JONES Fried chicken off of 59 and fondren - sharpstown

get the spicy lamb over rice with extra sauce and the fried chicken wings 

you wont regret it...and its open till 5 am.

Had it in NY a few years ago and thought it was OK. Had it here in CA (Costa Mesa) a month ago and had the same reaction to it. That red sauce is fire tho literally.
 
Halal Guys just opened up here in Vegas a few weeks ago. Was meh, not worth the hype. I'd go back if I'm in the neighborhood, but there are better Mediterranean options out there.
 
Had some leftovers my pops couldn't finish and I can see why there was why a lot left. He poured that hot sauce all over. At first I didn't know what it was and was like damb did i heat the food up too long lol. Hot sauce is no joke. But the chicken is trash the beef is all good though
 
my friend had halal guys in cali and he said it wasnt as good as the new york ones 
 
I'm in Long Beach right now, checked this place out but went to Philly 's Best across the parking lot.
