Creatine Monohydrate

This question could also be answered in the fitness thread.

Probably already is answered actually. Lots of good info in there

Use it. Honestly it's really anabolic

You're gonna get big in a week but its just water weight. All it does is over saturate your muscles with water. Been taking it for years

It definitely does work for sure. 5 grams a day is all you need. Mono is really cheap

Just take a teaspoon and put the creatine in your mouth then drink water and down it

Makes you much stronger but can cause some side effects such as balding and shrinking of testicles... creatine, not even once.

What do I gotta do/eat for a body like that?

I have a different problem

Problem is I started working out while I was at the higher end of my weight and thus I'm now struggling with whether I should be on a fat loss diet vs weight lifters diet.  I want to lose the fat but have to keep eating to produce gains in muscles :frown: My gut is killing me

No thread jack, but would hemp protein be a nice addition for weight loss program?

Just make sure you drink a TON of water because the stuff really dries your mouth out.

When I first started lifting I was eating around 3.5k cals, I was skinny so that was a ton for me.

So after force-feeding myself to get all those calories, I would take creatine, but I barely drank any water because right after the meal I felt like my stomach would explode if I put anything else in there.

So I would wake up in the morning & my mouth would be soooooo damn dry. So dry that one morning I woke up, gulped & apparently I hurt my tonsils or something because my throat was sore & tonsils were swollen for the next few days. Terrible feeling.

But other than that it works. It's not magic, but it will help. Just make sure you're drinking lots & lots & lots of water. Allmax Creapure is what & a lot of others use.

cut but use creatine to help retain muscle mass and strength. When you get to your desired BF% then you could choose if you wanna bulk or stay at maintainence

I read that you should alway gain muscle then cut. One article even suggested a slow bulk for 2yrs for all beginners.

In the middle of a cut myself for the first time. Was 242 on Jan 21st and weighed in at 219 on Friday. Trying to get down to about 195. Got a lil gut myself but noticed it's shrinking...

Exactly, NO idea where people are getting the idea has a body you would strive after

I got some tennis ball action goin on right now but I'm goin for some softball action. Also some silver back gorilla action.

24 pounds in 5 weeks!?!?! Maaaan you mustve went from cheesburgers to straight lean meat lol

What brand do you guys recommend for creatine? I was reading Cellucor?

Right now, I'm just trying to get my body used to supplements. Back in HS, I had bad acne and a bad neck injury that prevented me from lifting heavy.

Since mid January, I've been taking a Centrum Multivitamin and then ON Whey Protein. Hit the gym 4-5 times.

A scoop in the morning with a slice of bread and PBJ before workout and then another 2.5 scoops, banana, flax shake in the afternoon to complement an on-going clean diet.

Thoughts?

I've been on bodybuilding.com lately trying to get educated as well as the Stay in Shape thread.
