Cheap things you do vol. every dollar counts

In order to not derail the thread.

Whatever the reason may be (to this day I don't know), she has decided to stop speaking to me and kicked me out at the age of 18 with no warning, when I was making $100 a week with no car and nowhere to go. She set me up to be homeless. Before you say it, everyone always asks and insists that I must have done SOMETHING, but famb I swear I have not. I think it was because of my dislike of her bf.

I've made many attempts to speak to her and try to move on from this (one of which was me showing up to her house and ringing the doorbell, only to have her shut the lights off and pretend to not be home), but she just keeps dropping me from her life to focus on her boyfriend who is a jobless pothead using her for her money.

I can't emotionally take another attempt / rejection to speak to my own Mother. It's easier at this point for me to erase her from my memory and focus on the present and future of my life.
:frown:

Those wet wipes mess up the plumbing. Even the flushable ones. Had to get it fixed. Saw on the news that sewage treatment managers said people shouldn't be flushing them.
I'm renting so I flush a lot of things down the toilet including aper town because I hate having too much j trash to take out to the dumpster

Stolen TP from work a few times...they use a decent brand of 2-ply, not my proudest moment

My water pressure is A1 in my apartment, old school toilet with a single pipe system. Bout to jump on them flushable wipe wave. Good looks on that, my barber told me he walks around with a pack and I thought he was bugging. Asked him if he carries a man purse to a public bathroom like chicks when they're on their cycle :rolleyes

Been on the wetwipe wave for a few years, got a pack at work too.

nothin worse than when you dont have them tho...you can tell the difference. :x

I keep wet wipes in my car never know when I'll have to use a restroom away from home.

Always go to self checkout at grocery stores....
Never pay for produce

I can see how easy that is, but I feel like a bunch of spots I'll go that has self-checkout, there's always an attendant walking around.

I wouldn't attempt to steal groceries. Cameras everywhere and employees watching that you don't see.

The attendant's not there to watch you steal, he/she is there to check it out if there's something wrong.

Home Depot has cameras in the kiosks as do Ralph's...you think you're getting away with it but they gonna catch you.

I was waiting in line at the self check out aisle and this guy and his kid were in front of me. The security guard walked all the way to our line and told the kid to put all the giftcards he stuffed in his pockets back. I don't think he could've saw that from where he usually stands. Cameras probably saw it and someone told him.

Us homeowners know wipes call for that emergency snake to come do work.

Wipe, wipe, wipey...trash.

Well yeah. But if they don't see you scan something/input a price for non-barcode items such as produce...

I dont know where else to post this but I just signed the lease to my first place!

I'll probably be back in this thread looking for cheap habits to save money

Btw they will catch you at the self checkout stations in grocery stores. Not worth it at all
