MCHG was a dope album, compared to what has been dropping in this era. Compare it to that, Hov is still King. But if you compare it to his previous works, then yea he lost a few steps. But Hov will still rap circles around all these dudes currently in the game.

Kobe isn't what he was. They're a lot of better players than Kobe at this point. I'd still rather watch Kobe than the majority of the guys in the NBA.
Which is why I am baffled by these debates. If you don't like Jay-Z, don't listen to Jay-Z. It's pretty simple.
The only thing I find odd is how someone will say Jay-Z is garbage, but then they will listen to Meek or Ross or Kevin Gates or Big Sean. That's not even the tier of the French's, Fetty Wap's and Shy Glizzy's that get love. Because some of these same people will be in some non-lyrical rappers topic discussing their new project.
