what is hate towards overweight/fat/obese people? vol. new category of hate

I personally dislike overweight people. I was once overweight and it was because I was lazy with no self control. As a human being I feel your body should be at the highest priority in your life. The human body is capable of amazing things if properly taken care of yet most people can't even functionally move between destinations. I don't hate them but I see the wasted potential.
Too bad you still the weakest Z Fighter

once u said metabolism plays a certain role, i knew u have no idea what ur talking about. ur metabolism is 100% in control of your weight. its the reason why some people have to eat every 15 minutes and are fit. why some dont eat enough but are fat. why some people eat and are hungry 10 minutes later. metabolism is the key. if someone has a fast metabolism it is physically impossible to be fat for instance.

and losing a major amount of weight is indeed hard. think of it this way. how many miles do u run a day? now how much do you weigh? do you ever have cramps in your foot or shin splints after running or a hard workout? imagine how FAST a shin split comes for a person weighing 300lbs running a couple miles a day. imagine how much weight that person has to move with every step compared to you. everything a fat person does takes exponentially more effort than it does for a fit person. think of a pushup, who has it harder? you, or the person trying to push 300lbs? a pull up? who has to work harder to swim?

the best weapon a fat person has against obesity is their diet. but dont downplay how hard it is for someone to lose weight especially when u have no idea what ur talking about

i peeped but i let it go lol. im 350 but im still running fast and clapping backboard. bout to pick up skateboarding again too. bedridden is in that 500+ territory. altho i do recognize people "Wear" their weight differently.

Alright bruh. Your right , that was worded poorly, however the truth is the majority of overweight people either don't try hard enough or at all. If someone is 50 pounds overweight and says its because of their metabolism being bad, they are either in denial or acknowledge it and don't want to deal with it. You don't get that big without eating yourself there. I'm 6'4 228 right now, the lowest I've ever been is 217, and that with a near all protein diet and hoops every day. I tore my acl last summer and went up to 250 ish. Once I was healthy again I started lifting a couple times a week again, and running lightly . Coming off of a leg injury that prohibited me from doing basic things , I did have bad shin splints and cramps for a while, in the leg that I hurt. But they went away, and I'm almost back to my ideal weight. All I did was add some physical exercise and drastically cut hack my calorie intake. I used to eat about 3500-4000 calories a daywhen I hooped, cut it down to 1500-2000 and kept going to the gym, I've lost over 20 pounds in 2 months. **** isn't that hard if you are disciplined , and cut out fatty or fried foods.

For the record I don't hate or dislike fat people.

all love! i hope u dont think im mad or anything lol. and congrats!

Im cool with them doing them, as long as they don't promote the lifestyle.

**** is wild unhealthy, it should never be a narrative.

Parents that overfeed their kids into obesity status should be getting visits from CPS.

I lost 50lbs last year, I was never huge though. 210 down to 155ish.

You can blame metabolim or whatever but at the end of the day, you can lose weight if you are consistent enough.

I dont think I have to preach on how to lose weight since you seem knowledgeable (Tek), but all I read is metabolism this and metabolism that. Forget the science about it, eat healty, track your meals and progress and just be active. Youre gonna lose weight, low/high metabolism whatever.

My friends been big his whole life. He goes to the gym consistently, hes pretty strong and he always wants to hit PR's and his idea is "I wanna be healthy and be strong and if I lose a little weight im cool with that".

Sounds good right? Hell no, its a defense mechanism he uses just incase he doesnt lose any weight so he can tell himself "well I wasnt trying to lose weight anyways". I know deep down dude wants to drop 50-60lbs but hes already setting himself up for failure with his mentality.

everything ur saying is true. but what ur saying also falls in line with what im saying. the "consistency" is what builds your metabolism to begin with. like i said, my diet was supposed to be like 5 or 6 meals a day. same times every day. metab slows down from inconsistency when your body believes it's not going to get food for a while so it burns energy and fat slower. which is my problem. ive been doing really well this month tho, hitting the gym (my upper body is F**** up for the past 3 days lol, went way too hard), eating 4 meals a day. ive lost weight since i last posted lol. im doin alright

but ur right about ur friend. its a failsafe. check his eating habits if hes been big and still goes to the gym consistently. when i first got to ucf, i was on a meal plan for the first time. payed a stack and change for unlimited meals at the cafeteria. for the first time in my life i was eating A LOT. im cheap. so if i paid for it im going to get every penny's worth lol. i dropped 30 lbs in the first 3 months eating trash lol. i had slices of pizza EVERY day for lunch, of course i loved salad so i had those every day as well. but lots of bread, lots of cheese and fats n s***. but just from eating "enough" weight fell off of me. that and I was hooping every night for 2-3 hours a night. so just check his eating habits. with losing weight, for us fatties... the kitchen is more important than the gym.

Me personally i have no prob with fat people being someone who is tryi g to get his pro card in bodybuilding i see and hear crazy excuses of why they are fat and i just shake my head. If i can wake up and 5 do cardio then lift at night there should be no reason u cant stop stuffong ur face and take control of ur life but hey i could care less lol. Thats more money in my pocket lol

Also coming from a place where I've been both fat and skinny I completely agree with you. I see this in my friends that say "they want to lose weight" all the time but come up with excuses and failsafes to allow them to disregard the stuff they don't feel like doing. I understand that everyone has different goals but what's the point of half a**ing fitness? If there's a proper and more effective way that's within your means to lose fat (losing weight and losing fat aren't necessarily the same thing) why wouldn't you do it? I went from fat to skinny by improperly dieting, barely eating and running like crazy. I lost a lot of weight but I looked horrible I was tall and lanky it looked like the only thing holding up my skin was my bones. Then I went to college and I started putting weight back on slowly but surely. When I realized I let myself go and I decided I was going to lose the weight right this time. With a combination of eating clean 5-6 days a week, SOME cardio, and weight lifting/calisthenics I'm shedding fat every week. I may not be as light as I used to be but my fat percentage is a lot lower at 225 then it was at 195 (I'm 6'4 btw) and in my opinion that number matters more than what's on the scale. I've got friends that make excuses saying "I don't want to build muscle I just want lose weight" or "I'm not trying to be a body builder" or the people that think that cardio is the only way to burn fat. But the simple fact of the matter is, regardless of genetics or metabolism if you don't have the proper balance of eating right and eating clean, weight lifting/training, and cardio you may lose weight but it won't be sustainable. I think that a lot of people are just intimidated by it all and just try to halfass around the harder stuff.

I wonder how many people realize that companies mostly cause this issues and that society adds to the problem.

So by teasing fat people your not encouraging them to loose weight your actually just making them fatter

The way the question in the thread title is worded got me thinkin too deep lol.

teasing anybody doesn't encourage them to do what you're teasing them about. fat people are often in denial about being fat, so they may smile and laugh about the joke, but inside they're hurt cuz they feel like they either can't lose the weight, or don't think they're even mentally strong enough to put in the work to lose weight. its like fat b*****d said in austin powers, "i eat because im unhappy. I'm unhappy because I eat. Its a vicious cycle." I'm not saying this is for ALL fat people, but for most. Food is a drug to some people man.

fat people get called fat

skinny people get called skinny

pale people get called pale

and dark people get balled dark

Everyone catches it. At the end of the day, someone is going to have something to say about someone else.

Just how the world is.

Denial is what it was for me. I never thought I was fat per say. Just that I wasn't an in shape bodybuilder or whatever

I got fat friends an was pretty fat until 16. I'm 6'2" and rom about 16-19 I went from 225 to 175-180 (what I stay at now).

It always bothered me so I did little things like stop drinking soda and eating a healthy meal once and a while. I stll need to stop eating like 2-3 big meals a day adn break it down to 5-6 smaller eating sessions. But like trek was saying nobody has time for that.

I got a fat friend or two. They aren't morbidly obese though. Their fatness doesn't stop them from hooping or doing whatever we're gonna do for the day. Only time I "hate" fat people is when they are morbidly obese and it just really inconviences everyone around them. Or when they seem mad at the world like it's everyone elses fault. I can understand being content with semi fat. Some people don't have the will power to make the changes to cut it entirely out and drop the weight. But Don't just not do anything and end up at 400 pounds.

Real talk, I never met a black person that "hates" fat people. I seen them clown fat people, but "hate" people, that didnt do anything to them?

Sounds like something else...

Some people just have to feel superior....

Dont hate "overweight" or"fat" people, but them obese MFs that sit next to you on public transit knowning damn well they too big, screw them.

I can't stand the people who use the genetics excuse... Bs... Less then 1% of the population have an actual condition that effects them as far as weight... You take in more calories then you need you are going to gain weight. Fat people just lazy AF and have no self control, simple as that...
Genetics isn't an excuse. Genetics plays a huge part in it. Some people are just predisposed to being larger.

I'm lazy AF and have no self control and yet I look like I regularly work out (I don't) simply because my metabolism is godly (thank you papi).

Then there's my cousin who does everything she's supposed to but can't keep the weight off because she has to do 100x the work I do and just can't keep it up.
Bro, if you eat a caloric deficit every day, you will lose weight. It's as simple as that. genetics will never be able to conquer that fact, the only exception being the 0.1% of people out there who suffer from specific health conditions, some of which are due to genetics.

I have nothing against fat people, if they're happy I'm happy. But too often I see/hear them wallowing in self pity, yes using genetics as an excuse.

Gross oversimplification of the issue. Damn there's some true idiots on this board :x
