I really don't think this Cousins deal is happening.
1. There's still the slight chance that Minn could pick Oak over Towns. I really don't think they would trade Towns and other assets for Cousins.
2. Why trade assets when there are other free agents on the market that are comparable if not better?
3. Lakers are going to be linked to every rumor out there...and right on cue we're closer to getting LaMarcus. Just like we drive the price up for free agents, we drive the price up for trade talks too.
4. What's the hurry? There's no rush to trade for him now. Draft your players, look into free agents and go from there.
Trading 2 or 3 cost controlled and high ceiling players for one volatile quasi-star sounds like a terrible idea.
