Woj says his sources say it's between the Blazers and the Spurs. It was on TV.

To me that's the most obvious choice...

He's either gonna get as much money as possible... Or go to a contender..

Sports reporting in 2015 is dumb as hell to me

He hasn't even met with any teams yet.
For sure. Just making sure you guys know what is being said out there. Mostly, everything should be taken with a grain of salt, but Woj is arguably the most reputable guy out there. It's way too early to know what he'll do though, especially before he meets with anyone.

yea we saw what happened with us and our #2 pick, everyone thought we were going with Okafor until the last minute and we took DLo
maybe thats whats happening here, he was leaning towards us for a whole week now that free agency is upon us he switches to the Spurs/Blazers?? :rolleyes
hope not...

If he does, he does. On to DJ. If he stiffs us....well, then......plan b-rolo/asik/bring back ed davis+give Upshaw a roster spot...If not that...well, we're throwing money at Bismack Biyambo.

If im not mistaken the only one left in the pen is kenley? With JP comin in lets say this goes extra innings should be fun to watch.

I honestly think.... Nick Young might benefit the most playing off of Russ. I believe Russ' playmaking will get Nick into the spots on the floor that he likes vs Nick tryna create everything off the dribble and pull Jay like he had to do last season. So I say..... Keep Nick. It's hard finding a guy that can go for 20 any night off the bench. We sneeds dahht

And I hope we can grab Asik. He's tough. Big. Defends. Pretty decent offensively. And will be about 10 Mil cheaper per than Lamaracus which would def give us more wiggle to make the bench even deeper

Well, Woj has been proven not to have Laker sources. Ding had Russell WAY before the draft, Woj was sittin there watchin on TV to find out all 3 of our picks.

The guy this morning that is a Clipper beat guy said he has a pretty good source. LMA also is repped by an LA firm. (I did not know that)

Obviously, we could be being used. LA is forever used as leverage, but he fits the roster, no shuffling or gutting to get him, Spurs are old and very short window with big lack of depth, he has a home in LA, he would be looked at as savior, and two more max slots 12 months from now. He'd be on TNT, ESPN, NBATV, ABC prolly 35 out of his 82 games, and he has the young core to carry him as he ages. (Ala LeBron goin back to Cleveland)

We also meeting him 9:01, showing him he's our number 1 priority.

That's a helluva pitch. We'll see.

to be fair, where else would most of these firms be located? NYC? SF?

LMA also has a home in Newport Beach btw

LMA is always at Equinox in Irvine in the offseason.

Kobe goes there all the time as well, even during the season but rarely during regular hours when it's packed

What's the deal about Jimmy Butler trying to sign with LAL on a 1yr year deal?

Is it against the rules of Love opts out and takes less money in Cleveland on like a 1yr deal? Something just seems fishy about Cleveland and how they are moving with FA
