Green doesn't completely suck but up until a few years ago every NBA team thought he did he is in a very favorable system with the Spurs due to a dominant low post scorer

Who in the **** is that on the Spurs?

Do you watch basketball? Like, in 2015, have you watched any within the last, 7-8-9 years? Honest question, no shade.

So now John Ireland is saying that the lakers are in talks with the kings!!!! with the lakers giving up the top 5 pick, Julius randle and nick young for Boogie and a future 1st rounder??? any thoughts since I know John Ireland is a bum

John Ireland reads this thread, apparently.

Top 5, Randle, and Nick Young.

I almost consider it if it means no more Nick Young.    (not serious)

If that's true...I would never doubt anything CP says from now on about how terrible our front office is. That is the worst trade ever....and I mean ever.

what if the kings threw in their 6th pick? would u guys do it

Ha............

............

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

4-5, for 6......
Boogie, for Randle/Young.........

Boogie, 6, Houston pick, #34, Kobe, Clarkson, Black, Ellington, maybe Ed Davis, little less cap space but still could pull a piece or two. Maybe even recycle Boozer (ugh)

Hmmmmm. I doubt, heavily, the Kings would offer Boogie AND 6, to get Randle and the 4th-5th pick, and Nick Young for 3 years. But that's certainly a lot better than just Boogie for our 2 lottery tickets + filler.

Pass....I'm not sure anyone on here wanted to endure 24 months of tanking/24 months of bickering in this thread/24 months of being the laughing stock of the league to trade both the prizes for d.boogie and a max for k.love.

"Shiny new toys/cheap and controlable"
Or
"Down low towards the basket/malcontent center who's game is catered towards a game that so-called doesn't exist and will demand a 100+M soon&stretch 4 who's soft/will cost an arm and a leg"

The master plan, yo.

I don't get this.

DMC is not a prototypical 80s/90s center and his game has evolved every year

There is a hint of sarcasm in there. Sorry..

The main reason I wouldn't trade Randle and a possible top 5 is his mental makeup. Is that who u want as the franchise cornerstone? I'd rather keep the young, cheap nucleus and lure character stars(ie Durant)

Source ?

i like Ireland, dude just wants to see the team win.

randle/1st round pick and NY? this is a buns idea.

but for boogie and the 6th though...

look at it this way, would you want the lakers to try and sign boogie if he was a FA this summer?

we get a potential top 10 talent locked in til 2018

we all talk about signing superstar "x" and "y" but its not guaranteed they will come to LA

I love Ireland the radio guy and the lakers play by play. But his "insider" view is always wrong and he's always being a homer.

With that said I never miss Mason & Ireland or Max and Marcellus

If there's any blessing.......

I'm so glad those "stay, Dwight" billboards ain't work.

Enjoy those nasty *** scripp clubs.

5-120M.....LOL

There is a Difference between using assets for something bigger, and throwing them away. I'm sure Ireland thought this was a great idea, but it is essentially throwing assets away.

There's no reason to even believe that two Top 7 "rookies" cannot put up the same wins as a Boogie led team. Why because a flaming pile of trash heap managed by a trash can was 7 games back of them.

We have 3 assets (Clarkson, Randle, Top 5).. The only true one that makes sense is one of those 3, and anything else they want.

Other than that, we end up with a trade that somehow makes both franchises worse.

These are the kinds of posts that frustrate me about you.

Your hate for Timmy D is so blatant and unwarranted.

When teams gameplan, their bigs know they have a problem if #21 is suiting up. You have as Kwame status already, or worse.

Dude was every bit a contributor to that Finals last year, but you're ready to throw games out from this where he had bad stretches...

... while ALSO making the argument that Danny Green is the goods and just had a bad series against the Clipps.

His point wasn't Duncan isn't important for that team. His point is that Duncan isn't a dominant low post scorer anymore (because of the way teams play now). I believe 30% of his possessions this season were from the post, which is actually much higher than I expected. Maybe I read the stats on NBA.com wrong a while back. He was also in the 50th percentile in efficiency from the post in terms of points per possession in the post.

And bro your hate for Kobe is blatant and unwarranted a lot of times too

. Serious question always wondered, how are you able to be the fan of the Lakers when you hate a big part of the Lakers so much. I know the team is more important than individual players, but how can you root for a squad with a key player you hate so much?
