Do you go by L2B or LTB?Okay guys, I may be jumping the gun by a few hours but I have to head out for the night so excuse the impatience... It's a meaningless game against the queens and it's the final day of the season.
I want to thank my dude CP for holding down the thread during such a tough season.
I'm glad our misery is finally ended with this season. It was a tough one, but like CP and P have said...a necessary one, assuming we keep our picks and we land someone solid.
I thought since we're going to have a long summer, and probably another long season, I'd get the thread back to get us back to a few entertaining polls and discussions among the long wait until next season.
Also, since I'm going to try to organize the hoop summit I figured it might be easier doing so as the OP.
Any whoo, list your goals for the offseason.
For now, I'll start us with a basic and simple question for the poll.
What spot do you predict us landing in the lottery?

He's going against dudes in their 30s who are naturally stronger than him to due to age. It's no cake walk, if more people did what he did a lot of these "franchise players" would get EXPOSED.

Been s tough couple of weeks for me. Not tryna play the victim or anything but it's why I haven't been as active on getting the hoop thing going.
Going to the gastrointestinal specialist tomorrow to be scoped for what I believe to be a probably ulcer (hopefully just that).
Won't know exactly what's going on inside me until tomorrow.
Once I feel better I'll be getting in shape again and try to organize this hoop thing, promise fellas

T Mac had way more experince, I definitely feel it's not easy if you're a 18 year old kid going to a new country and having to go against GROWN MEN.
I like Ty Lawson, I do, but he’ll be 28 this season, owed 25 million the next 2 years. And will likely want a new deal.
Clarkson will be 23, and owed 845k next year only. And will likely want a new deal.
Clarkson’s new deal won’t be like Lawson’s new deal.
So, in a sense, I get it. Lawson, Kobe, Randle, Top 5 pick is certainly a nice start. Maybe add the Houston pick, Nick Young, maybe they keep Boozer or Hill around, maybe Davis or Black, Ellington, I get it. They think they could compete for a playoff spot. And it would prevent them from getting Rondo. I get it.
But I didn’t suffer these two years of building to come out with Ty Lawson as my prize. Top 5, Randle, and Clarkson is a nice start. Hopefully the Houston pick turns out to be as good as Clarkson can be, and that will give us 4 real young, top quality, young pieces, for a total cost of around 8-9 million dollars, total. For 4 guys. THEN we can shop for additional parts, to build around them.
I wouldn’t be “furious” with a Ty Lawson/Clarkson deal, but I would rather not. Stack the chips, stay on target for bigger fish. Keep costs low, and talent building. That will help hook your big fish.

If we could figure a way to preserve Randle, Top 5 & Clarkson.
And still get near a max for a less than 6 year player (Tobias / Middleton)
I'd do it.
I.e. Deal anything not bolted down.... So no Randle, Top 5, Clarkson or Kobe. Everything else. They can take.

I also don't think you get the idea of trades being two sided. You keep saying Get it Done Mitch, when the Kings are not even willing to trade him.
Lol boogie and AD are problems at the 4 and 5, the two best doing it right now. If u can't see that then idk what to tell u. And boogie doesn't have problems off the court, he just wants to win. I'd like that he hates losing, I like that fire that passion.
And the Kings have been throwing Boogie name in trades since late January. Just accept that the squad NEEDS to pull this off, it's ok E
