there should be a forum with no mods
There is. It's called the internet.

@Lakers
Today’s first group of prospects working w/ @tdathletesedge:
Ashley, de Paula, Christmas, Harvey, Tokoto & Petteway

Christmas & Harvey are the two biggest to look at here.

Although I really, truly believe that we need to move up, and take the best wing player in the early 20s that we can.

Just because we are taking Okafor or Towns, a big seems like a waste, unless there's an absolute steal.

Tokoto could be worth the flier if you think he can continue his all around play without a jumper.

I don't agree with that.

RJ is already better NBA player than Anderson, and he has much more upside.

RJ has range, but he's still a chucker... As exhibiting by taking 50% of his shots beyond the arc, and only hitting 29.8% of them.

His saving grace is he gets to the line, and converts.

And has good size that helps him on defense.

But he still has lackluster speed and explosiveness.

On the other hand, Anderson's numbers don't jump out at you. Why? Because he played in an offense that moved extremely slow, and discouraged individual play.

And for his knock in '13-'14 as being a bad shooter, he came back in '14-'15 with much improved mechanics and shot 45% from 3.

Also played on a defense that has you playing the lanes as opposed to on-ball.

He also has great size that helps him on defense. Hunter is a better playmaker, but the potential for Anderson defensively is there as well.

Anderson ranked 22 on Draft Express, Hunter 24. And Hunter got far more exposure than Anderson got on a national stage during March Madness.

It all comes to who has more upside, and the capability to fill the upside... And I'd bet on the guy who has improved his game from year to year, and room to go. As opposed to a guy who is maxed out athletically. But whatever floats your boat.

Towns knockin down NBA three's to the tune of 11 for 13?

Please take Okafor Minny. Please Flip. Please. :frown:

Chad Ford @chadfordinsider 1m
Workout over. Towns one of the most freakishly talented bigs I've ever seen. Not sure what his weakness is in this setting.

4 asterisks.

Hell with it, maybe we should just give Minny 27 and 34 to move up the one spot. I don't want to lose this guy. :smh:

Please take Okafor Flip. |I

I'm going to need Towns to bring little Karlito with him to his interview with Minnesota. Better yet, just no show because Karlito told him to.

Which is why i'm teasing, I thought winslow was better off the jump. Just teasing my friend. thats all

Hidden behind the guys with bigger profiles.

What I mean by that is... Okafor got all the shine going into the season. Which hurt how WInslow was viewed and his stock. When you're not the man, wherever you are, it's unlikely you get the recognition, you deserve going in.

It took Winslow having to really put a performance on the whole season, to get just due credit.

And Stanley falling off a bit in the second half when he was the main guy.

They basically swapped.. Winslow is going where Stanley was supposed to 4-6 months ago, and Stanley is going where Winslow was supposed to go 4-6 months ago.

Edited for objectivity.

Anderson will never be anything more than a fringe role player. He can't create his own shot and he's nowhere near the playmaker RJ is. You can keep the defensive potential. He played in great system.
