I agree with this. The edges the Bulls had coming in was home court, coaching, playoff experience and their tuff reputation. That's why most people picked them. Series simply came down to them not being able to score.

This season the Wizards gave up defense for offense. Ariza for Pierce. Thing is our defense finished the year 5th. Our defense maintained while improving offensively. Add that to the playoff experience gained last year and you have a team built better for the playoffs.

That and the addition of Kris, trade of Miller and Wall, Otto & Seraphin have become better players.

The last 8 minutes of our season last year doesn't happen like that if we had Paul. We probably would have lost but Wall going OC and the whole team jacking 3s Paul wouldn't let ride. Ariza didn't pull anyone aside, he was jacking too. No numbers to show for leadership and our offense is better as a result.

Yeah, its very good but not elite. They do have scoring drought but boy, do they come back from deficits really quick. 

Our defense has been much better than in the regular season. Bulls play physical defense and Playoff is all about that, which it showed and will continue to.
