AJ XXX (30)

I'm about done with the XXX until they drop something like those mock ups. Then I would gladly jump back on the bandwagon. Lol.
Would like to see a space jam mock and maybe one with blue soles n dark upper, maybe fade it blue to black like the blk/red fade. ^^^
 
Pretty sure jb and nike do whatever they can to use nice colorways to sell lows.
Therefore those sweet photo shops will end up being lows.
Likely with a butler logo
 
How bout black on black w/ clear OR grey soles and red XXX? Can we see that?

This stuff is like shoe porn. We're just getting all excited just to realize we will never touch the object on the other side of that screen. Smdh.
 
I read a comment on another sneaker site that stated the XXX was supposed to have the Nike Hyperadapt auto-lacing system and it didn't work out. That's why we got the XX9 midsole. Anyone out there know of any truth to this? And since the auto-lacing system is coming this holiday and Tinker stated there'd be a 2.0 on a basketball shoe, do we think it'll be on the XXX1?!

Very possible Tinker wanted it on these and either the timing didn't work out or Nike said no.

I'm curious to know either way! When the thread( not sure which thread. I think the XXX thread) first started with rumors of how revolutionary the XXX was going to be, I predicted auto-lacing would debut on the XXX. My thought was that since we had already seen it on the Michael J. Fox Air Mag and it being the XXX, the timing was a perfect storm to go down in history. We all know how it ended up lol

My thought goes towards it not working out. If Nike said no, why say no halfway through the design cycle. That would limit the design team and the overall design. I think they'd say no before the start of the design for the XXX. Plus, we know there was another designer and Tinker was asked to step in after a new direction was decided. I wager it just didn't work out for whatever reasons. Although, this is all speculation if the XXX was to have auto-lacing.
