Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Seems to be on damn near all of nike's shoes now, including the 29 and 30. I haven't seen many if any flyknit/flyweave shoes that don't also use flywire in some way... I don't think these minimalist uppers would have enough support without it.

Yet another example of people in here stating things as FACT when really just guess or opinion I'm done sharing info I see in here with friends and then find out later it is wrong, making me look misinformed
 

When I say no strings Im clearly interpreting that as no flywire which people in this thread have said were on the AJ30.

Of coarse there are straps, that is the lacing system utilized on the shoe for a lock down fit but that system is not called flywire.

Flywire is the actually wire thread material.

Yeah it looks like a flat eyelet material that extends to the sole in lieau of flywire. But on westbrooks pair it looks different it could bee that his PEs have flywire
 
Heads up for anyone looking, the Jordan XXX launch colorway is 149.99 at Downtown Locker Room brick and mortar stores. Just left PG Plaza, they had an 8.5 on display.

Already a XXX1 thread and talks of that release. So I'm guessing they won't make the XXX's in a low?? Trying to imagine what it would look like....the xx9 lows?
 
Good question it would remove the ankle collar, the most defining part of the shoe from past releases. Theyll still probably do it.
