I agree that the aesthetics of the 28 and 29 weren't the best, but both shoes are very good performance models. I actually play ball, so they work for me but I wouldn't rock them casually.
Hopefully, the 30 gives us the best of both worlds.

anyway, yeah I was dealing with it for years until I figured it out. I bet if you wear 11s to ball in your knees will feel a whole lot better all of a sudden. Im gonna go out on a limb and say that zoom air ended Penny's career but that's my own little theory. Hell, Jordan himself retired after a year of it. Vince Carter was just fine with Puma...

Not to mention when he came back the 18 and 19 had it as well, with the 19 had double stacked zoom air in the heel. Jordan has said that zoom air saved his back and career as to why he preferred it to air insisting that Scottie Pippin do the same. So I'm not sure about the zoom ending your career statement. Penny I think was just a case of unfortunate anatomy. Dudes body was breaking down faster than he could rebuild it. That's the breaks..

By today's standards, a "low" is more like what they're putting Kobe and Durant in. Pretty sure it will be a high(ish) top. No for performance reasons but so they can
have the option of releasing a 'low' version as well, or charge a premium for it just because there's a few extra square inches of material around the ankle.

Its quite amazing that the Jordan Brand has stayed on top basically retroing shoes from the 90s. Like almost nothing they've released from the 2000s and on original has stuck and yet, it doesn't matter

That's cool, gloss over the shoe he came back in and arguably did better in. He didnt do too much in the 18s and after the 19s, with even more zoom said F it, Im done. The story doesnt fit the narrative. He's gonna say what he has to to sell his shoes.

We are adding in the fact that the man was coming back from his second retirement not to mention all the mileage from playoff series and Olympic play.. To do two years after all that I still don't think I'm going to blame it on zoom LOL! But to each his own. It all love
