ESPN will definitely bend over backwards for the NFL. Remember they cancelled Playmakers and wouldnt cooperate with Frontline's story about NFL concussions.

Also pretty convenient they axed him right before the Brady suspension. You know Bill would've thrown bombs at Goodell. 

 Wouldn't surprise me if the NFL gave ESPN the heads up.

Every single program I watched from ESPN today covered that. It's like no other sporting event occurs when it comes to espn

Maybe I'm missing somethin but not really seein the point of that Rembert "tweet" even if deadspin turns the screws all the time.

Grantland fancies themselves as a site with good writers writing in depth sports and culture articles and does not intend to break news.
Deadspin all along has been a satirical site that covers everything in sports whether it be athletes or the people that cover them and they rip everybody.


The Simmons coverage though has gotten ridiculous

I don't go on Deadspin but their headlines always come off as click bait with hot takes. If that's for satire then they should be more creative.
